Hi, I just came up really high on this test. Who has taken what? I have Valtrex, will that work? How about monolauren?
I think this is causing me more problems then the tick issues. Isabel

Valtrex is better for EBV. Valcyte is supposed to target HHV-6, but it's a pretty toxic drug. Monolaurin and/or olive leaf extract might help.
But honestly, your best bet is to treat whatever TBDs you have. In my experience, these viruses (HHV-6, EBV, Parvo, etc.) are along for the ride on the TBD train and with appropriate treatment of the infections, these titers often go down.
Good luck to you.

I am in the same boat. My hhv6 was slightly elevated. I only have one symptom, red throat, not even a sore throat just red and raw looking. I am taking abx for lyme right now, but will be stopping soon. I also take olive leaf extract capsules, and coconut oil capsules. I took Byron White EBV/hhv tincture and ran out and will reorder and do that for awhile. I do not have any of the tiredness that is usually a symptom.
Hope this helps a bit.

I have anaplasmosis and that has pretty much cleared up, so now I'm dealing with this leftover stuff. But I'm thinking this leftover stuff is pretty rough. I have EBV also. Those were the two that showed up.
It's such a complex disease. Isabel
