Another weird symptom..I have this weird tingling behind my sinuses then hot flashes, increased headache, increased eye pressure. It's not my sinuses. I read about Pituitary Insuficiency and wondering if anyone else experiences this. When I tell the Dr. they seem to Poo-Poo it, or just ignore me.

I don't think you would FEEL a pituitary insufficiency. You could ask your doctor to check all of your hormones.

They should be able to tell if the pituitary is not working by checking the hormones.

Sometimes Drs will do a 24-hr urine collection test.

Agree with Lymetoo - you won't feel pituitary issues - that's tested for.

I drink mangosteen juice - it cleared my sinuses and stops all Lyme eye symptoms. It's in healthfood stores and online. I like the Mango-Xan version as it's the most tart. We're all different in how we respond to treatments.

I was tested about 5 yrs ago at a hospital and they

concluded that my Pituitary Gland was not creating

enough Cortisol levels. They eventually said that it

was more than likely due to the Chronic Lyme and

Co's affecting the Pituitary Gland. I was then

diagnosed with Secondary Adrenal Insuffiency(

Addison's Disease). It was all linked back to the

Lyme.

Hope this helps some. Best Wishes
