Just wondering if anyone has these symptoms and if it's probably Lyme or Bartonella...when I first wake up in the morning I can't curl my right pinky finger down without it "catching" as if a tendon is messed up, and my entire left hand is numb/unmovable....then as soon as I wake up and get out of bed within 30 seconds it all goes away/normalizes..

Wow interesting Nula. Did it go away for good? How many days/months of Minocycline did it take?
Isn't Plaquenil for Babesia? My doc wants to treat Babs first, and then the Lyme with Minocycline after.

I should also add to make my case even stranger, my trigger finger first thing in the morning only started after taking a week of Flagyl and Tetracycline for an un-related infection. Futhermore I never herxed on those drugs or have any joint or muscle stiffness or pain to this day

Plaquenil is used for Babesia, yes, in combination with other drugs. But its also used to make the intracellular environment more alkaline, so other drugs (e.g. Minocycline or Biaxin) work better.
My symptoms went away after a couple of months on Mino and Plaquenil. Came back again when I stopped. Resolved a second time when I started again, and then went away permanently (even after I stopped taking the combo).
In my opinion its a good idea to treat the infection that causes the biggest issues first. In your case that might be Babesia.
I think the Flagyl/Tetracycline combo may have kicked something up.
Have you tried using herbs? Stephen Buhner has two wonderful books on Bartonella/Mycoplasma and Babesia/Erlichia/Anaplasma.
I'm sure you'll get rid of this symptom :-)
