I went back to dr and said I just couldn't do that high level of flagyl and biaxin. it was killing me.

so he reduced it to 250 each per day.

I still have a massive headache, tinnitus, chest pain and short of breath.

he said if I can't tolerate this dosage, we can go lower but lower doses may not be effective. and we may jus try alternatives like cowden and jernigan, which I don't know anything about.

this sucks....

Given your past posts / history with these kinds of drugs and your gut . . . it does not seem reasonable to think any Rx protocol is going to be tolerable to you. Beyond just "tolerable" it seems that more damage can happen to your gut and you may not be able to recover from that.

the tinnitus is also a sign of ear toxicity. Be sure liver support is tip-top so that maybe your ears might have some protection (but no guarantee)

Is there a way you could see an ILADS educated LL ND? I thought there was a good one in your city.

A LL ND would have a much broader range of options than just either those two you mention.

And, any chance you could get a rife machine to address infection . . . with a LL ND to offer support herb detail. That would be the best combination.

A gluten free food plan, too, is so very vital for the gut lining. I know that's complicated but it could help. Just avoided wheat is not really enough, though. It's more detailed than that.

There is a way you can rise above all this. I'm sure of it. Hold on.

I was but finished that round at the high dose. when the time ran out I was still sick, thinking it's my dd. but apparently its not. so off I go to the llmd in a nearby city and since I had the pills already, he reduced the dosage.

he said dd may not be my problem but lyme. so we're going to look at other treatments. I'm not sure how qualified he is in those. he deals in abx but does give cowden and jernigan. but I was on cowden for months and didn't see any improvement. he said it could take six months to a year before cowden kicks in. I'd rather not wait that long but looks like I might have to.

yes I saw a female over near dallas but her treatments included that foot soaking thing, diet by blood etc. plus she wanted my charge account information. her packagecost 531 per month and she would charge automatically plus there was no returns.

I don't know. we jus didn't click. she's very familiar with cowden tho.

No, that would not be OK with me either.

I can't imagine taking abx again.
