The problem is not the BACTERIA, but it is the milieu.

36:00. It takes 2 years to change the milieu. But in about 6 months, people feel better. But it takes 2 full years to build the milieu again, in constant treatment.

The body is able to work out bacteria and viruses on its own. Also borrelia.

All the others that were bitten and DIDN'T get sick, it can only mean, that the majority of people fought lyme successfully.

Brussels comment: I swear to you guys, almost everybody that live here in rural Switzerland is bitten. Most very regularly. Like myself and my daughter.


Just make the calculation: if 1 in 3 ticks are infected here, why only a small percentage of us fall sick with lyme? And SOOO SICK like I fell??


Why I still get bitten, and so does my daughter, but we do not have lyme anymore now? It's been 6.5 years for me, lyme free DESPITE new bites.

Before, just ONE BITE would put my daughter in wheel chair, and I would fall so ill that I could barely take a shower on my own.

Very interesting.

Why no dairy??

Dairy products seem to be the big no-no of late.

I have been trying to do the GAPS diet.

Studying GAPS I learned the difference in milk/ dairy products sold in stores (pasteurized etc) vs raw milk, cheese, etc.

I really don't get it - raw dairy products bad? Why?

The thing is that the bacteria itself influences the milleu. It's not like it is some passive observer that just happens upon some favorable terrain in a person and decides to vacation there.

Borrelia is an active participant in creating a more favorable environment for itself. Altering cytokine profiles further downregulating the immune system, releasing neurotoxins, secreting biofilm. It actively terraforms the terrain to favor it's own growth and the growth of other pathenogenic microorganisms.

So it's not so simple as either killing the bacteria or trying to fix the terrain as killing the bacteria does in fact improve the terrain.

In addition the exposure to different bacteria and viruses over the course of a person's life also affects the development of the immune system and the "terrain".

I think the question is whether detoxing heavy metals, changing diet and mineralization and balancing energy through homeopathics would be enough to kickstart the immune system and activate self healing processes to a degree enough to fully recover.

I think a person's terrain is determined by many factors that are not always easy to change. It's not guaranteed that a detox program in a picturesque mountain setting would be enough to equip it to be able to fight Borrelia on it's own.

Milk, I think they follow Enderlein and Sanum approach.

I never avoided it, but I recently I tried the blood type diet and cow milk is to be avoided.

So I did a 3 week no-milk diet, didn't see much change.

Then I took cream in my coffee, and saw my finger get swollen in 20 minutes.

Next day, I took the same coffee with cream. SAme thing happened. I tested myself energetically, and it came as a direct relation between CANDIDA INFLAMMATION and milk cream!

I am now only taking minor amounts of yoghurt (but sheep and goat), and minor amount of butter. My candida is gone dormant only with a through liver detox and avoiding cow milk products. Or was it the blood diet?

One thing is sure: I'm taking zero candida killers, not even homeopathic, and it is gone dormant!!! I am even eating more sugar stuff (fruits, chocolate) than I ever did (because of that 'damn' blood diet [Big Grin] , I crave more sweet things than usually).

I am still new to that, so I can't tell you guys if no nuts, no milk does something long term. I still take goat milk products, or I feel starving for oils....

Certainly pasteurized, non organic, as I took it at the coffee shop.

At home, I only take pure organic coffee, no sugar, nothing added and it always feels like a lymph cleaning boost.

When I go out, I take what they offer: non organic coffee with non organic pasteurized milk, super sterilized.

But only coffee caused me no increase of inflammation. The addition of milk did that effect.


I think that when I was on lots of butter + other milk products before my blood type diet, I did not realize the connection between milk and inflammation...


Once I did the no-milk diet for a few weeks, I think that made the trick: only a bit of milk caused immediate inflammation! It was clear to the eye. As it happened twice, I connected the dots, one day after another.


Since then, I avoid it, of course. I did a cleaning in my liver, and that did the trick: no more chronic candida (at least, for the moment).


What exactly did the trick, I'm not sure: liver cleanse, less oils in food, or no COW milk product. Or maybe all that together?


All my joints are so smooth, my skin has zero inflammation, it's so amazing. And I do eat dry fruits, fresh fruits, a piece of chocolate, and even more than that a day. I've been fighting candida for decades, literally...


That clearly shows that the connection SUGAR and CANDIDA is not as simple as people think.

I, in fact, INCREASED the amount of sugar (mostly natural in fruits), and that was when my candida got dormant.

I lowered oils (because butter and cream was a main source of oils for me), cleaned the liver, and that did the trick THIS time.

So that makes exactly OPPOSITE to what people with no sugar candida diet do. I increased both carbs and sugar containing things, because I crave these once I lowered oils like butter and cream.


The goat products I'm taking are less oily (fresh soft creamy cheese). I still take the camembert-like goat and sheep cheese. I feel I crave oils, so I also increase olive oil, otherwise I end up taking more carbs due to craving. But so far, so good.

All the goat /sheep I am taking now are pasteurized. I know I shouldn't, but that is what I find easily at shops...

One thing to note is that sheep and goat's milk have the A2 protein whereas most cow milk today contains the A1 protein. It's being discovered that the A1 protein is quite inflammatory for many people. Cow milk used to be A2 but the switch to higher yielding breeds in recent history caused it to change to mostly A1.

I had thought that I was lactose intolerant for many years, but I could always drink sheep and goats milk with no problems. I tried the A2 cow milk that has recently become available and can drink it without any issues, although it is full of lactose. I still can't have any standard cows milk at all and it seems the reason was always the inflammatory A1 protein rather than the lactose.

Look at page 441, all forbidden foods according to Sanum /Dr. Werthman. That is where dr. Rau probably took the idea of his basic diet protocol for LYME DISEASE.

No-no list. page 441:
1. all cow milk products, including butter, chocolate, french dressing, sauces etc...

2. all chicken eggs
all backed cakes, cookies, chinese spring rolls, pasta with eggs etc

3. all nuts
nutela, all nuts, coconuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkig seeds,

Dr. Werthman is giving a list for allergic people and that includes foods with Celulose (?):
fresh fruits, fresh veggies, fresh salads, dry fruits (so they have to avoid that). Dr. Rau didn't mention that in the video.

4. Histamin provoking foods.
fish in cans, sardines, pork, rabit

5. Against allergies of the nose (polen, dust, too much colds..)

Avoid ONIONS in all forms, avoid all ready made powders (for the soup, Knorr type, I don't know how to call them in English),

avoid garlic, all plants that belong to that onion family

avoid mustard, ketchup, lemon, kiwi, berries (that have too much acid content)

(Brussels comment: I never followed this diet because it looks too hard for me, that is already EXTREMELY skinny)...
