I have a constant feeling of having to yawn to take a breath, I am not sure if this is air hunger or not or related to Bartonella. Has anyone had shortness of breath/need to yawn in order to get a satisfying breath and NOT have babesia? It doesn't come and go with symptoms flaring or herx...it is always there. Thanks!

Yes, I have had this with babesia but also with chlamydia pneumoniae.
And I can't prove it exactly, but think my "asthma" was likely linked to candida.

I have certainly had this symptom a lot during my illness, but I couldn't say for sure which infection was causing it. I do agree with WPinVA though that fungal issues seem to play a part in it

I definitely have the same air hunger-type feeling. I believe it's Brucella for me (which is closely related to Bartonella, the treatments are basically the same). Mine has improved at times with anti-Bart drugs.
From what I've read, it seems like Brucella causes symptoms similar to both Bartonella and Babesia.
