My doc started me on Doxycycline 100 mg twice a day (which I had him change to 200 mg twice a day) and Tinidazole 500 mg twice a day after noting elevated C4a and positive IgeneX IgM Western Blot.
In B's guidelines, however, I just read that tetracyclines can make tinidazole less effective.
Should I be on a different combination of meds? Thanks in advance.

Thats a good general combo...are you on nystatin or diflucan? Watch out for the sun ...maybe others will chime in ...

I was given Diflucan, but only a month's worth. I eat a ketogenic diet as well. I take Ohira probiotics and Klaire Labs Therbiotic.
I'm going to see if I can switch out the doxycycline for a couple of weeks. We are going to be in a very sunny location for 10 days (a vacation planned before I got sick).

- Even after stopping doxy, for a few weeks or more beyond that, the some kind of sun sensitivity can cause serious burns. Something to check on. No sure every person is the same regarding that "after" window but consult a few different sources about this. -
