There is a curious lack of information on the subject.
It would be interesting to hear from anyone with Lyme who has also contracted Covid-19 and is willing to share their experience.
Also, if comfortable, please include whether or not you received the "vaccine" prior to contracting Covid-19.

I had lyme (it's been gone for a while), and I did catch Covid a few months ago. I had extreme fatigue, so sleepy, brain fog, fevers, couldn't function, with no desire to eat. Fortunately I had energy tools to utilize, and one for sure helped me clear stuff, EM (eminusmirus). I also did some Reiki too (the two work well together).
Covid seemed to stir up other pathogens too, all of which EM zapped and helped knock them down. I don't have any long hauler symptoms (thanks to EM).

I was currently in a Lyme relapse and contracted covid. I have not had the vaccine.
Covid symptoms for me were like a cold, coughing and sore throat, but also very tired.
That was in March 2021. My lyme relapse has been longer than usual, which may have to do with the covid.

Thank you for the info, Catgirl and Nancy.
Nancy, do you think there is any possibility that you unknowngly had contracted Covid before your Lyme relapse, and the relapse was then triggered by the Covid infection?

Yes, I had Covid last March (2020), though you couldn’t get a test at that time. It made a lot of my existing symptoms worse and introduced some new. Ones, not all of which have cleared up. I still get horrible chest tightness, for example. I am on a waiting list for one of the new Long Covid clinics that have been set up in the UK, but I am not counting on that to be all that helpful. By all means ask me a question about it if you want, Phoiph.

My relapse symptoms started in early February with bloodtest confirming. My covid symptoms and positive for covid test results were mid March. So that's over a month apart. So my thoughts are that it was unlikely in my case.

I've had chronic lyme since 2009. Comes and goes but I've learned to manage it fairly well. Otherwise I am very healthy.
I got Covid right before Christmas 2020. Symptoms started with a really bad headache and fatigue. Day 2 and 3 I felt flu like but only had about 12 hours that were really bad with aches/pains all over. By day 4 I felt pretty well other than really bad fatigue. Overall it was just like a bad cold that came and went over a period of 14 days. Never had a fever, sore throat or cough. Never had trouble breathing. Lost my sense of smell and taste. Smell was gone 4 weeks; Taste 7 days. I recovered fine.
Recently I went into a Lyme flare (and it's been maybe a year since I had one this bad)due to some major stress and I feel it is taking me much longer to recover. Don't know if that has anything to do with having had Covid...I've had flares this bad before.
Haven't had the vaccine and don't plan to get it. I have "natures vaccine" with natural antibodies. I fear what the vaccine might do to me with Lyme

Hi, I believe I had covid last March. I had terrible chest pain , dry cough, low body temp, fatigue, sore throat and diarrhea. Unfortunately I did the covid test too early and it was negative. Since then they recommend waiting 5 days.
I was treated with azithromycin, zinc and plaquenil. I could only tolerate the plaquenil for 2 days, my heart started racing. This was before I was vaccinated.
I do have symptoms now of bad fatigue, headaches and fever. I just treated Lyme with Bicillin IM and now am treating Babesia with Coartem and Atovaquone. Then on to treat Bartonella.
I don't think this is the long haul covid syndrome. I might look into mold and viruses as the culprit.
Take care, JVS

Phoiph, I am really pondering your comment. I possibly had Covid had an appointment with the University doctor and they kept on asking me about my previous lyme. I felt like I had low blood sugar. I felt like I was going to faint. Sinus problems, post nasal drip, cough, diarrhea. I read a medical article that states COVID unleashes a cytokine storm. Hmm

My concern is that both Covid and/or the mRNA therapy shot (a.k.a. Covid "vaccine") could trigger or reawaken the cytokine immune reaction in someone susceptible.
I suspect many of those who have or have had chronic Lyme are susceptible, as well as those who have dormant or smoldering Lyme.
If this were true, then "Long Hauler Syndrome" and chronic Lyme would be one in the same...just a reawakening of the cytokine immune reaction that doesn't shut down, even after the infection threat is past.
Just a theory...

Phoiph, My lyme and co-infections are dormant. I try to juice most of the week. I do juice wheatgrass, cucumber, celery, carots, kale, lemon. I did the both COVID vaccines and was fine.

Dr. Cameron is conducting a survey to understand the impact of COVID-19 on individuals with Lyme Disease and other tick-borne illnesses. You can participate in the survey if you have had Lyme or tick-borne illness and any of these criteria:
1. You have had COVID-19 2. You have had the COVID-19 vaccine 3. You have had neither COVID-19 nor the COVID-19 vaccine

My father's a doctor, and he said these cases of Lyme disease + Covid are indeed rare but should have an appropriate approach because of possible unknown consequences.

Hi. Yeah, indeed, Lyme, it's not a joke. I felt it on my skin. Many people ignore simple tick bites like my case, lol. Then appears erythema, and so the story begins. I have had Covid a little bit after I was treated for Lyme. It sucks! It was awful. All I was doing was sitting on the internet and reading different stuff. I found here niclosam.com that niclosamide is newly used to treat Covid. Did you hear anything about that? I understood that this drug is from the antiparasitic class like hydroxychloroquine used in malaria. I wish it were simple, like in flu, getting through with antivirals without complications.
