I posted on mold site last night

It appears that I had a seizure yesterday that lasted around 45 minutes. " previously not in over a year and very infrequently like 5 minute seizures that was related back to my Hemiplegic Migraines and low Blood Pressure" my family said this was not close to similar of any they had seen.

I'm detoxing for mold on cholestyramine, BEG and VIP... my blood pressure was high according to paramedics.. my blood pressure runs normally really low it was 170/110..

Can anyone give me feed back on seizuresIt appears that I had a seizure today that lasted around 45 minutes.

I'm detoxing for mold on cholestyramine, BEG and VIP...

my blood pressure was high according to paramedics.. my blood pressure runs normally really low it was 170/110.. Can anyone give me feed back on seizures

(breaking up the post for easier reading for many here)

It's rather amazing you could post the whole post in one line. Guess that means your eyes are tracking okay. However, for many others here, best to break it up. So that I - and others can read this, breaking up for easier tracking:

Don't know what BEG and VIP mean so I'll just comment on this one aspect in my experience.

Cholestyramine made both the intensity and the duration of seizures worse for me. Yet, still far shorter than you report.

I know this, I will never take cholestyramine again - I tried several times, and low and slow and it always caused me seizures.

This is not to say anything is wrong with it but it is very wrong for MY body. It may be for yours, too.

My guess is that your magnesium - and other nutrients - may have gotten dangerously low. Cholestyramine does that. And, for those prone to seizures, this can severely lower the seizure threshold.

With your having experienced one for a 45 minute duration, however, it is best if you could contact your LLMD or your mold doctor about this so they could further direct you if more specific aftercare might be required.

Actually, it's not just best to seek medical advice, it is very important, actually. But it's Saturday night and if you are not feeling in the seizure zone, I'm well aware that it's best to stay home and rest.

I don't know if your LL doctor takes calls on a Sat. night but you might call their service - the doctor who is guiding your treatment, that is.

If it happens again, do get to the E.R. Have a family member call ahead and alert them so that neurological triggers such as loud sounds / bright lights might be tampered down for your arrival.

There could be various factors / causes.

Of course, do not drive. Be careful walking, too, of course. This will likely settle down but if possible the cause(s) . . . as well as factors that might have lowered the seizure threshold &/or triggered it should be considered.

There are various factors at work with any kind of seizure.

My guess is that your treatment is just too harsh for your body at this time.

Best to avoid all computers and screens of any kind for a couple days. Hope a friend or family member can help you there.

REST, ADRENAL SUPPORT, GENTLE LIVER Support likely good but very gentle. I would definitely not take any more cholestyramine for a few weeks and then maybe start it out very low and slow.

There are many other ways to achieve what that does.

Avoid all kinds of FLUORESCENT lights and any "naked" lightbulbs, etc. included here:

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=119810;p=0

Topic: Best way to control limbic seizures / overactivity?

Actually, for anyone with hyper-stimulation of the nervous system. It's all in the same neighborhood.

Many LINKS - hope something here will (gently) ring some bells for you. Lots to consider so just take it one step at a time.

If you are taking any tinctures with alcohol, I suggest stopping any / all. Even on drop of alcohol can set off a chain reaction for those prone to seizures that involve any degree of liver distress.
