I see an LLMD/ART Practitioner (one in the same). I had been doing really well for quite some time.

About 2 weeks ago, I noticed extreme fatigue, heart palpitations and feeling dizzy for a few seconds at a time.

The Dr. said I have babesia again.

Would I get these same symptoms from adrenals or thyroid issues?

I've had both which I'm currently taking some thing for my thyroid.

Thyroid issues can cause these symptoms: when I became hyperthyroid, palpitations (and arrhythmia) went bananas and with it came a weak dizzy feeling on and off, with enormous fatigue.

However, I expect other factors could also cause symptoms like these, so good luck with tracing what the major culprit is.

Thyroid - yes, both hypo and hyper, adrenals - I'm not sure. The other problem that could cause all of this is low iron. Check your iron AND ferritin levels. The ferritin should be about 80. Ferritin can be low even when iron is normal so it's important to look at both.

Thanks so much!

I hope this is truly what's happening.

I also have joint/muscle pain. I feel like its the lyme/babesia all over again.

Get your thyroid levels checked again. They may not be where they should be.

For me, low thyroid didn't cause any of those symptoms - Lyme did.

When you say joint and muscle pain, that's the Lyme part.

I'm finding that a simple remedy is helping me with those symptoms. I get turmeric powder in bulk at the health food store and dip 00-size capsules in it and take one a couple times a day. It greatly reduces the pain.
