Hi All: I tried to look this up with no avail.

Can anyone tell me if lyme or co's cause stomach pain and the most likely offender in your opinion.

Lastly, I believe because of eating pumpkin of late in protein shakes, I have flared my candida.

Candida can cause this as well, correct? Almost like my food won't digest, no real appetite and pretty much stomach pain - like a sour stomach most of the time.

Thanks for any and all insights. Just would love to know what I am dealing with most likely.

Thanks!

I feel like I am having a pretty bad bart flare in my feet as well. Can bart cause this? Honestly, it was one of my first symptoms when I got bitten - this stomach issue (never really knew which one it was). Started mhbot about 3 months ago so it appears the herxing is in full gear.

PS no more pumpkin - very sad [Frown] one of the only carbs I can eat. But really, NOT worth it! JUST an FYI. Thanks Lyme Warriors.... YOU ALL ROCK!

Pain in my feet is in my arch(primarily left with some neuropathy- tingling primarily) and real pain that throbs -- I think that is it....

I haven't had any stomach pain, but intestinal Candida (and skin overgrowth) was a real challenge. Try adding no-flush Niacin (Nicotinamide/Niacinamide) to your daily supplements for Candida control. 3g/day did great stuff for me and quickly too.

I would also eat a tub of the fattiest balkan yogurt you can get your hands on. A probiotic too, with 50B CFU. If all that fails, break out some Gum Mastic and eat enzyme-rich foods like jam, pineapple, papaya, and s-h-i-t-ake mushrooms.

Hope this helps!

Jory

So happy to contribute and give back - my new Lymenet friends got me to a great doctor, gave me support on my darkest days, and have been there for me every single day since returning from my doctor visit.

You are describing bartonella symptoms.

From Burrascano, page 24, describing bartonella symptoms:

"Other key symptoms may include gastritis, lower abdominal pain (mesenteric adenitis), sore soles,
especially in the AM,....."

Bartonella gave me severe lower abdominal pain. It also caused gastritis.

I had a number of colonoscopies, etc. to try to find out what was causing the episodes of severe pain. Once, I went to the ER and they did a full body scan expecting to find appendix problems. Nope. Found nothing. And this was after I laid at home on narcotic pain killers for 10 days with this terrible pain.

It all went away when I got good lyme and bartonella treatment.

So, the pain can be from mild to severe.

The pain from candida is basically gas pain from the bloating that candida causes. When I had it, the pain was mild and continual (24/7 every day) for months until I diagnosed myself and got my so-called lyme doctor to give me an Rx for diflucan.

•Symptoms of gastritis are:

◦ indigestion (burning pain in upper abdomen or "pit" of the stomach),

◦ nausea or vomiting,

◦pain in the upper abdomen.

So, it sounds like you are suffering from gastritis due to bartonella.
