I fractured 4 and 5 metatarsal bones in left foot. omg,,,the pain. so off to dr.
he presses around, twists it, turns it and I'm going..uh not a good idea there doc. so he says well possible break. yeah right...
I go to get off table and bam...I'm going down. nurse rushes in. I'm white as a sheet, sweat pouring off me, dizzy and then throwing up. then diahreaa. I barely make it to bathroom. suddenly my bowels jus loose it.
my bp had dropped over 25 points. 100 over 70. heartrate 68.
I was scared to death. dr comes in and says oh vegal response. give her juice, let her lay, she'll be ok.
I stayed for about 15 minutes and hobbled out drove myself home.
problem. it's happened twice now. once at walmart and again when being fitted for boot.
wth is going on???

plus this full boot really is difficult to wear. I'm only 5 feet tall and it hits the middle of my knee.
my sister fractured her foot and wore a short ankle boot. course she had to wear it for two months.
Yes, absolutely "all that pressing, turning, and pushing on my foot" could have set it off! What in the blazes did he think he was doing??!! You told him it hurt and you thought it might be broken! You can't make this stuff up.
On the boot reaching mid-knee, please tell them. Surely there is something they can do to have a boot fit better, so it doesn't create yet more pain, compensation, and misalignment.

hey, I save every penny I can. don't buy clothes, eat out once a week. use coupons.
one trip a year. plus my friend got me two weeks balcony for 600 each.
those of you who cruise now tell me that ain't a deal. I met a person on board who paid three grand, yes, three grand each for this cruise.
I scrape for every penny.
you dont know how I live or what I go through, so don't knock it.
and the boot my doctor wanted was 300 bucks at the place he sent me, so I asked for cheaper and used every discount I could. but I paid myself. i dont ask anybody to pay my bills like a lot of folks do.
plus I've got husband's biopsy next week.
I'd say you better leave this bear with a sore paw alone.
