Looking for feedback
The supplement company I have been dealing with for a number of years had changed their return policy drastically and gave no warning

I am looking for another company
Any recommendations ?

I know this is off topic sorry and Thanks

I think it depends on the supplement.

I use Metagenics quite a bit for some things, but other companies for other items.

Hi Hominahomina

I just ordered from Natural Healthy Concepts. I found they carry many high quality supplements and are much cheaper than purchasing from my LLMD.

Hope this helps.

Maybe it's a good time to visit your local health food store?

I use Swanson's Vitamins most of the time. They sell the NOW brand.

I use vitacost.com. Very fast delivery, lots of selections.

I always go to retailmenot.com first and get a coupon code for vitacost so I get something taken off my order.

Its amazing how many low quality, impure, or just plain overpriced supplement companies, formulas, and vendors there are out there.

The following are a few companies that are generally favored by LLMDs. All of those I will list are those who offer a variety of formulas and products, as opposed to those who only have a very small niche (ie Byron White makes herbal formulas, Lauricidin makes an excellent monolaurin supplement, and Argentyn 23 makes some of the most widely studied and viable silver products etc). Many Lyme / TBI patients can get a lot of benefit from these very targeted supplement types, so if you're looking for a particular treatment don't discount them either!

This first group of supplement manufacturers are those openly available to purchase for the general public. These companies may offer programs for medical professionals to purchase at a wholesale discount, so be sure to check your LLMD or other practitioner - they may be able to give you a better deal than just purchasing online, depending.

PURE Encapsulations - https://www.pureencapsulations.com/ - Offers a wide range of supplements at reasonable prices and is focused on ensuring ingredient purity, so you won't find a lot of additives.
Thorne - https://www.thorne.com/ - Another company offering a wide range of supplements with quality formulas.
Seeking Health - https://www.seekinghealth.com/ - They started out as one of the best places to go for getting high quality supplements related to methylation support of which they still excel (thanks to it being the primary focus of the ND behind the company), but have expanded beyond that to making a range of excellent products.
BioPure - https://biopureus.com/ - This company offers some rather unique, high quality supplements with the only downside being the price to match. You can find some supplement types here that you won't be able to find many other places at the level of quality and purity. As I recall, this is Dr. K's store and primarily focused on the LLMD community, but their latest iteration will offer products directly to laypeople. Please note that there may be some products here not visible/available to laypeople compared to those with practitioner logins.

--

The next group of companies are those that can only be purchased be purchased by or sold through a healthcare professional. The definition each company will accept varies, so its worth looking at their requirements but it typically has to be some sort of verifiable, certified professional. Laypeople and other patients cannot purchase directly from the company. Instead, they are encouraged to purchase through their healthcare providers either in the office, or sometimes (depending on the company) by being given a special code that allows them to order from the site at a discount under their providers account.

Note that most of the provider agreements with these companies request they do NOT sell on Amazon, EBay or any website but their own and to their own patients, but some practitioners skirt this - often hawking these products at vastly increased cost online. Unless you absolutely have to do so, don't pay those kinds of prices and try to purchase from approved practitioners - your LLMD or other healthcare provider may already have an account! If they don't, feel free to ask and they may sign up - its a relatively short form and proof of professional credentialing (like a scan of your state medical license) typically and rarely do these companies have minimal order requirements - at least none I've dealt with! Practitioners and laypeople alike should stay FAR away from companies that engage in multi-level marketing and other unscrupulous practices!

Xymogen - https://www.xymogen.com/ - A practitioner exclusive company with a very large catalog of high quality products, sourced and manufactured within the US .
Natura Health Products - https://naturahealthproducts.com/ - Only practitioners have access to the whole catalog of Natura's products. Most of their formulas are botanical/herbal in nature and are known to be good combinations with high potency ingredients.
BioPure - https://biopureus.com/ - listing Biopure again since their practitioner side may offer additional products as it did at one time and the company is focused primarily on practitioners.
Researched Nutritionals - https://www.researchednutritionals.com/ - As its name would imply, Researched Nutritionals not only offers specialized supplements through practitioners, but also contributes to research and verification. Making things even better, they are very closely partnered with the Lyme/ tick-borne illness community and create products for specific issues with documented effectiveness.
Ortho Molecular Products - https://www.orthomolecularproducts.com - Much like Xymogen, Ortho is another practitioner-only supplement company with a sizable catalog of quality products.

--

Well I think that's a good start for now. If you have any additional questions or are looking for something specific, just ask!
