I started having similar symptoms last year after having a negative reaction to anesthesia during an outpatient procedure.

Went to see neurologist and was told to take a multi-vitamin/omega pill/B vitamin. Did so for about 6 months and neurological symptoms worsened.

Just started treatment for Bartonella and Babesia and noticed a decrease in symptoms after 1st dose.

But...Herxing isn’t fun and I’m experiencing a phase of it now.

Feel free to inbox if you’d like to converse in greater depth.

Lisa, several years ago my toes went numb.
My family doctor recommended a blood test to see if I was diabetic.

After six weeks of this, I took a good B multiple at the suggestion of one of LymeNet’s “old hands,” Melanie.
Sensation in my foot returned in one day!

The vibrating sensation may be due to low magnesium.
The liver uses more magnesium when it's processing poisons, plus the Lyme bacteria uses up our magnesium.

ive been taking a big B complex. ND says B4 is imerative to take... I have noticed a lessoned sensation, but it is still there. I was worried too about too much D

because I was tkaing it and it went a little over recommended #, but all my drs say its good to have high D
?? but too much D can cause neuro damage.
so my ND said don't take D in summer becasue I get enough from sun, but I am not outside much.

anyway, I still have the numbness. it is less, but moves around in patches and is mostly noticable on my arms and legs because if somethign brushes on them I don't reallly feel it. or if I scratch an itch I don't really feel my own scractching . very weird feeling.

trying to not let it freak me out.

I think it might be a sx of bart?

Woke up suddenly with feeling sick and burning, tingling, numbness and joint pain all over body. Doxy 28 days. no permanent relief. Negative lyme test so no further treatment. On diclofan and Tylenol currently. Had Lyme since 1996 w/ tick bite-bulls-eye rash and initial doxy treatment. Found a LLMD in 2003 ended oral antibiotics after 1 1/2 years as did not resolve symptoms. My symptoms went dormant for a few years recently-but now suddenly very sick-also rashes, chills. Are these skin and joint symptoms-3rd stage symptoms??
