Hello,

Hope everyone is feeling OK today!!

I was just officially diagnosed with Lyme according to LabCorp and IGenX. My doctor is not an LLMD, BUT he has Lyme as well so seems to be pretty educated on the subject and has been very helpful thus far.

He prescribed the following antibiotics, probiotics, and supplements. Just wanted to hear from you guys if you think this is a good combo. I know everyone is different but I obviously know nothing about these and any insight at all would be awesome:

-Probiotic Daily
-Monolaurin
-Serrapeptase
-Biocidin
-Grapefruit Seed Extract
-Flagyl (Monocycline?)
-Biaxin
-Doxycycline
-Pregnenolone

I'm on day 3 and have not had any serious side effects of signs of this dreaded "Herx" reaction. I also had extremely HIGH readings for mycoplasma pneumoniae and extremely LOW readings of pregnenalone.

Any feedback, tips, hints? Things I should be aware of? Just trying to initiate come conversation with you guys to be honest. Shocked that I have Lyme...

Looks good... Look out for Day 4!!

Be sure to take the probiotics two hours away from the abx. .. and take plenty of them.

I'm glad you were able to find a knowledgeable doctor for this!

Oh no, is day 4 when the Herx comes typically? Also, 2 hours away from the abx? What is abx?

ABX = antibiotics

yeah, usually Day Four. If you escape that one, you may not be one who herxes badly. Let's Hope!

My herx took a month to happen. So I think just watch out for whenever it happens. I had to drop back in amount of treatment then, as it was too much for me. Don't know whether everyone has to lower dosage, or some slug through it.
