is this lyme specific or is this associated with another co infection because when i tested with labcorp back in august I had no bands from their wb test, do i have something?

- Not all of the important bands were tested (such as 31 & 34 - there may be more but it's hard to see unless side by side.
for your work page you might copy & paste numbesr below side by side to your tests to see what all was / was not tested).
Yet, yes, band 41 does have some significance and it could signal lyme (if you have clinical symptoms, of course),
it's just that it could also or instead of - indicate a different spirochetal infection.
if there is any way you could get a test from IGENEX, they test all the bands. Though, no test is perfect. Especially, see the reasons why some tests miss the mark in one of the links below.
Still, it's best that you seen an ILADS educated lyme "literate" MD for the best assessment / diagnostic work up.
Your history, SYMPTOMS (how you are "getting on" in the world in various ways) is far more important than a test but with 41 showing, your symptoms will carry more weight.
You might also get tested for other spirochetal infections, though.
Babesia should also be considered yet, again, that goes a lot on symptoms as to which test you would get.

The significant antibodies, in my opinion, are the 18, 23-25, 28, 30, 31, 34, 39, 59, 66 and 83-93. . . .
[Explains that there are various strains of borellia, so testing often misses the mark. Even if you have not traveled to various states, birds that fly - and can carry ticks and drop them off - have and they often land in NYC, too.]
. . The same is true for co-infections. The babesia in Missouri is called MO-1. It is a different babesia. There are different ehrlichia. It would appear there is a different bartonella. When you have different strains of germs, the test results may be falsely negative. . . .

Band 41 is the reaction to the flagellin of any spirochete. There are several kinds of spirochetes, which is why it isn't considered specific to the Lyme one. However, for people who have Lyme, it is a common band.

I had no bands show up on numerous tests over the years by Labcorp and Quest.
I did have a positive band 41 with Arup labs.
I finally tested with Igenex and had more bands show up.
I ultimately tested positive on the Advanced Laboratory culture test (assuming it was a legit test). (I think it was - even after all the bad press the test got).
I suggest you test with Igenex. Western Blots and IIRC is Igenex now offering the culture test?

If you're having health issues that a regular doctor isn't finding the cause of, I'd go to a functional medicine doctor to get your body working optimally.
Lyme is a clinical diagnosis. Testing can support the diagnosis, but it's not the only thing, symptoms are also taken into account as well as reponse to treatment.
