Hey everyone,

I've been on Mepron and IV Azithromycin for the past 5 months. I have 3 more months to go to finish the protocol but I am not satisfied with this treatment in slightest. It does help but if I'm late with a dose or miss a dose I feel terrible, just like I used to before this treatment. I do not think this treatment is killing the Babesia ducani but simply reducing the symptoms, because I'm still not 100% better or close with this treatment.

Has anyone ever tried Clindamycin and Quinine? Dr.H wrote about this protocol in his most recent book. He wrote that the side effects are much more harsh with the Clindamycin and Quinine but I would be willing to do it in a heart beat.

If you have any information on this treatment protocol at all please let me know. Thank you.

What worked for me was malarone with rounds of Coartem every three to four weeks.

Like you, the Mepron did not work.

I didn't try clindamycin or quinine.
