has anyone used this in their lyme treatment? I know its fairly new. My llmd mentioned it today. I have a lot of allergies to antibiotics so I am already running into a problem.

Feeling very frustrated and emotional right now.

thanks everyone

I haven't used it. I am also allergic to most antibiotics so I had to figure out what else to do. I encourage you to keep an open mind about other kinds of treatment and to explore them.

I personally am doing well just by taking capsules of turmeric powder everyday - takes down inflammational pain in muscles and joints. I also take other supplements.

thank you Robin. I was put on biaxin, plaquenil and transfer factor. Had terrible diarrhea issues for a week. I am wondering which one of these was the big factor in the stomach upset, all or one? Does anyone know if transfer factor causes herxes?

I don't think Antabuse is an antibiotic. There's a current thread about Antabuse (generic: Disulfiram) right here in "Medical Questions" which is currently running:

Linda .. get some Florastor to halt that diarrhea .. It will help protect your gut. That is very important!
