This is a symptom of fibromyalgia. Could it be Lyme also. Just add another layer to my misery.

I dont have Fibromyalgia but had this symptom at the beginning of my Lyme symptoms 2 years ago.

I saw a TMJ specialist recently. The imaging he did surprised me. The coronoid process in my mandible, it’s around protrusion at the hinge of the mandible, was worn away.
In my case, it wasn’t caused by Lyme. My jaws are too narrow and my mandible is trapped in the wrong position.
Lyme can’t help though.

I had TMJ early on in my Lyme history. At the time, an oral surgeon made me a splint to correct the alignment, which worked.
Recently, I saw a wonderful cranial therapist who worked on the area, including inside the mouth, to relieve the condition, I'd say more than 50% better, and more livable.
So these are suggestions for you to look into.
