The hospital I work at is making the flu shot mandatory for all employers unless there is a history of a life threatening allergy to a previous flu vaccine or history of Guillain Barre. No other medical reasons will be accepted. The only other exclusion is religious beliefs.

I am so petrified of the flu shot as I first became ill 8 years ago after receiving the vaccine. I really don’t see a way out though.

Since I most likely will have to have it I’m wondering what I can do to protect myself.

Some hospitals will let staff agree to always wear a mask or be reassigned to a different department / job duties.

I understand your concern as I also have some very serious conditions that were triggered by various vaccines in years past. However, we have new information about some things that might be of help that I sure wish I had known about.

And, also get a list of the ingredients long before hand so you can study that and know the best way to protect yourself.

If you have a LLMD or LL ND (naturopathic doctor) they will have some good suggestions for you. I think there is also an article in this links set that offers some suggestions for how to mitigate possible responses.

The time of day you get this, the place you get it, too, matters for you want the most calm environment and a time of day when you are at you best. Being hydrated and having enough good salt on board is also important.

MAGNESIUM is really vital, other immune supports . . . and getting your best nutrition as I hope you usually do.

A video I saw the other day really hits home the importance of meat protein and animal fat, too, being key to support the myelin sheath around nerves.

Don't worry, you need not adopt a full on carnivore approach, though what she explains about the nutritional value of animal products rings true to personal research from various researchers on the topic that I've been doing for 1.5 years.

Immune & Neurological support addressed below, too:

Whether wounds are inside body or on skin, she discusses various situations. And, of course, with any chronic illness, healing of bodily tissue is paramount.

As with all the other videos of hers I've seen, here's an excellent video presentation by a hospital health provider in New Zealand.

Topic: MAGNESIUM - Informational Links set

Other immune support - on-going, of course before and after and all during the flu season, be sure to keep your Vitamin D3 where it needs to be and have various herbal supports on hand to rotate.

Sleep as best you can for that is your strongest friend, too. Good luck finding your own support plan. I do hope you have a LLMD or LL ND . . . or even just a naturopathic doctor who might not be LL yet will know how to guide your support protocol for this matter:

ELDERBERRY EXTRACT (not the syrup as the sugar in that s sky high) Herb Pharm is a good extract, in glycerine. It does not come in an alcohol tincture but the glycerine will avoid the high sugar in most syrups.

And, oh, be sure to avoid sugar, gluten, and dairy. I also suggest going as low as possible with Lectins, Oxalates and Phytates but that can be confusing. Lectins, especially can cause nerve issues for some people more than for others.

Vitamin D3 - take with a fatty meal for good absorption

You want Immune Support - but NOT Immune stimulation.

Also be sure to avoid bad oils that can cause a lot of inflammation, t significantly suppress immunity and increase inflammation - such as corn, safflower, sunflower, soybean, canola and peanut oils.

For guidance on the right kinds of immune, adrenal, liver and neurological support for your particular body:

https://naturopathic.org/search/custom.asp?id=5613

Find a Naturopathic Physician

American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP)

Also be sure to avoid acetaminophen for it can block glutathione in all your cells. More detail about that here and why it matters so much:

LIVER & KIDNEY SUPPORT & and several HERXHEIMER support links, too.

Sorry so much here and not in a very well organized fashion. Just off the top of my head, so much that is important pops up.

For instance, why I strongly suggest being as low in lectins as you can for as long as you can before receiving a vaccine, Lectins can really trash our immune system.

But, also, avoid anything that can contribute to a "leaky gut"
Again, good meats and good animal fats can help heal the "tight junctions" of the gut.

Topic: Injury from vaccines? In absolute physical hell
13 November, 2019 by Kristyn

----------

BartenderBonnie posted this note in that thread above:

. . . This is from last week's ILADS conference with some of the top LLMD'S. Very beginning they discuss vaccines in their Lyme patients. It is alittle hard to hear.

https://m.facebook.com/lymebook/videos/484104168863822/?refsrc=https%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com%2Flymebook%2F&_rdr

They report they have had some very sick patients report back to their practices due to vaccinations. Can cause bad reactions.

Many Lyme patients crash after the flu vaccine. Can become disabled. Can revert back to pre-treatment status. Avoid vaccines if all possible. . . .

[end BartenderBonnie excerpt, posted on 13 November, 2019, noting this was "from last week's ILADS conference with some of the top LLMD'S. Very beginning they discuss vaccines in their Lyme patients. It is alittle hard to hear". . .]

Ellen,

You may have to come up with a sudden religious belief to opt out. I don't say that lightly at all.

Religious belief - I vote for that too!

I would get scared too, specially knowing about vaccine contamination with retroviruses (look into Judy Mikovitz).

If you can't escape, try to find the same shot in homeopathic dilutions 200X or 200C, take it before and a month after the shot. I don't know if it would protect you, but it's better than nothing.
