On Bicillin-LA for 6 weeks now. Feeling horrible still, bad body aches, tingling in limbs, daily headaches, continued night sweats. Anxiety/depression/OCD is through the roof. My question is, does a herx from Bicillin last this long?

I spoke to a friend earlier (knows very much about lyme) and said I should be feeling some relief by now. This has me extremely worried, are they right? I don't see my LLMD for another 3 weeks.

In the last 5 years I've had 3 nasty bouts of EBV. My last blood test about 6 months ago (when things were starting to go downhill) showed another current mono infection. Thinking maybe the EBV is still out in full force and hindering the Bicillin? OR..is it neither and still the lyme infection?

I'm devastated, the frustration on the daily is mounting. I don't know what to think at the moment. I've had these symptom long before the Bicillin, since taking the shots it has gotten worse...that's why I am thinking they are just intense herxes. I've read that Bicillin can do this.

Any input? Thanks.

yes it can, I am in the same boat. They say

lyme does not emerge for three weeks, so 4th

week we get worse then the cycle is repeated

again and again as the load is slowly

reduced..ebv is seen

in a lot of lyme patients..i would guess

immunosuppresion. ive had ebv active too

been there done that!

Yes I've heard that too, the 28 day. I am more so curious about the EBV and where I am with that, I have a gut feeling it's still an active infection. I'm wondering if I should call my doctor Monday ( she's off on Fridays) and ask her to mail me a lab slip. I can get the blood draw over with and so when I see her next month we can discuss the results.
