I've recently moved to Vacaville, CA. I have two questions really. I need a primary care physician under the California Healthcare Partnership Advantage Plan. Does anyone know a M.D. who isn't a lame duck in regards to TBD under this program in Vacaville?
I came up with one Infectious Disease Specialist: Johnson, Matthew Tracy. I called & left his office asking specifically his stance: Either IDSA or ILAD. It's only been an hour since I've made that phone call.
The second is there a LLMD in Vacaville?
Thank you

You need a practitioner whose protocol reflects those of The International Lyme and Associated Disease Society (ILADS).
ILADS practitioners are cutting edge when it comes to lyme. Unfortunately, everyone else (including infections disease docs) follow substandard and antiquated guidelines. You can go to www.lymedieaseassociation.org and they will email you some names. Be sure to look for an ILADS practitioner.
