I believe I have been living with this horrible illness for sometime and am looking for a Doctor in Mid Missouri area.
I was told to ask on here for a good doctor well known from Springfield MO or Columbia MO area that is one of the best. If someone knows his info, please message it to me.
All my issues started with a deer hunting accident where a knife covered in a freshly cleaned deer blood entered my bloodstream via cut.
A month later I started having medical problems and long story short, I now have a whole list of unexplained symptoms including recent irregular heartbeats and blurred vision.
I been tested requested to be tested by a local doctor but they say it's unlikely Lyme and blow me off.
I really feel I have Lyme and need a doctor that will know proper way to test and treatment before it's too late. Message me if you know anyone or have any info. Thanks!

For stopping blurred vision, I drink mangosteen juice, an anti-inflammatory juice. I like the Mango-Xan variety, as it's the most tart. In healthfood stores and online. I drink around an ounce a day. We're all different in how we respond, so all we can do is say what works for us.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are. At least half of all Lyme patients go out-of-state for care.
Most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner by doing this.
The top LLMD, Dr. H has written books titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and his new one, "How Can I Get Better?". They are an excellent source of information.
Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.
