Good evening! I am newly diagnosed and desperately seeking an LLMD for myself and possibly my teen daughter in Oklahoma (if we can find one because that’s where we are from) or Texas. We have Blue Cross Blie Shield and I have a positive diagnosis. We are waiting for my daughters tests to come back.
I believe most of my symptoms are in my joints and face. I have facial pressure and some cognitive problems as well as joint pain. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and RA.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so so much!

PMs sent to you and also to LymeToo and to BonnieBartender in order to update their list of ILADS LLMDs in Texas.
We now have 5 ILADS LLMDs in Texas -- 3 in the greater Austin area, one in Houston, and one in the North Texas area (Denton).
We passed protective legislation to protect our Texas doctors from harassment by our Texas Medical Board way back in 2011, after 4 years of very hard work. But then it took several more years before the word got around to Lyme-friendly doctors that it is safe to treat Lyme in Texas again now.
BTW, we also offer 5 FREE CME courses for Texas LLMDs who desire to follow ILADS diagnostic and treatment guidelines. These courses are listed on our TxLDA website. They were created by an ILADS doctor and are fully accredited by the Family Medicine group of doctors. (I forgot to mention this in my PM to LymeToo and to Bonnie. I hope they notice it here.)
I don't visit Lymenet often enough to be depended upon anymore to respond to messages in this Seeking a Doctor forum -- 'cause I stay too busy helping to co-moderate our TxLyme Yahoo forum.
