Welcome to Lyment gilfish06

You must become your own healthcare advocate. Research all you can about Tick Borne Infections. Lyment has a 'search' function located in the middle of the home page that you should utilize for great info from Lyment members.

Start a folder for everything medical. Include in your folder all blood tests, medical procedures, medical professionals seen, diagnosis's, symptom list, med list, ect to take to your 1st LLMD visit.

Get your finances in order. Lyme can be expensive to treat. Most LLMD'S don't participate in insurances. Learn why here;

http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/2/25539#000000

You can request a LLMD through ILADS here;

https://www.ilads.org/patient-care/provider-search/

Or through Global Lyme Alliance here;

https://globallymealliance.org/education-awareness/find-medical-professional/

Feel free to post any questions you may have and one of lymenet's dedicated volunteer will respond with their experiences. Knowledge is power. We will help anyway we can. Good luck to you on your healing journey.

I will send you a private message.
