I enjoyed reading about how your daughter got you to church yesterday and also to go forward for communion.

God is so loving and forgiving. It doesn't matter what is in our past that makes us feel unworthy, He is always there for us, drawing us near.

Hi precious friends,

I look forward to responding to your posts. It will probably be this evening.

Lymetoo, yes the flooding is really bad. I'll share what happened to me. Thank God we are never alone!!!

At 6:02 yesterday morning I posted "God Thought" and shortly after that was driving to work. I had no idea when I left the house that I would be so thankful, "WE DO NOT HAVE TO DO LIFE ALONE!" (that's how my post started yesterday morning).

Anyway...

I got caught in the OKC FLASH FLOOD on the freeway! There were cars in front of me and a large, deep body of growing water in front of them. I looked in my rear view mirror, cars were quickly piling up behind me.

The water continued to rise like the ocean's tide coming in. It was thundering, lightning and pouring down rain. There was nothing to do but wait. Several hours went by as the water became higher and higher. I could see the water covering the tires of the cars ahead of me and then around me. I could feel the water swooshing under the car. That was erie.

Finally, the water started coming into my car starting with the right rear passenger side, then the rear driver's side, (I called 911), then the front passenger side, but when I could see it filling right there where I was sitting (called 911 again but they already had their hands full)....that was it-I looked around to see what my options were. There was no choice-I had to back up. (I was calm, thanks to God, and didn't realize how stressed I was until I put my foot on the accelerator and began backing up. My right foot and leg began to shake.)

I started honking my horn and just started backing up. When the people behind me saw I wasn't giving up they started backing up. I was able to backup about 20'. The cars in front of me followed suit.

To make my four and a half hour ordeal short...I didn't make it into work but I did, FINALLY, make it safely home!!!

Please pray for the people who have lost so much due to the OKC floods. THANK YOU!

OH MY!! If you had been a little faster getting off to work your car could have been completely flooded over. ( or worse )

Thank God for His many blessings!!

I am thanking God right now for the wonderful Skype call I got from my son this afternoon from Iraq.

He got booted off the internet 8 times, but called back each time.

Until today, I have had phone calls, but this is the first time I was able to see his face in real time.

It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All,

G and I are doing really well. We met up at Starbucks for a date, just arrived home. It is exciting to read your posts.

MDW, Surrender is a good place to be...today and everyday. I'm speaking from experience [Big Grin] . Our God is worthy, and we can trust Him with our lives. REST is good! Each Sunday before we go to church we watch "Hour of Power". There is always something inspiring and positive shared. Last Sunday was exceptional. Yeah, that couple-they sure have been through a lot...and not giving up. What an inspiration! Dan Chun, A E I O U, good "stuff" and he was funny too.

Dekrator, I was thrilled to read about your son and Skype!! WOW!! the technology today is wonderful--all the way from Iraq!! I am woohooing and worshiping God with you!!!!!!!! I've not watched the link on Father Corapi yet, but I will. Appreciate you sharing with us. From a millionaire to a homeless person-that's a big difference. REST is good (think there is a theme going).

Lymetoo, and everyone else, I too, am just so thankful to the Lord. (My poor hubby, I didn't even think about it when I took pictures with my phone and emailed them to him. By the time I sent him the pictures of the water coming into the car, he was stressing out. YIKES! Poor guy. He wanted to come rescue me. Well, even 911 couldn't get to us. I remained calm and I think that helped him.) The situation yesterday could have been so much worse. I thank God for His peace and grace and love and EVERYTHING!

Going to take it easy now and go to bed early, too. REST is good.

Love is AWESOME!!

My mother called and we talked for an hour. and when we hung up with each other;I hugged the phone. I love her so dearly.

I also love God: He loved "me" last night and stayed with me. I had a night terror last night and screamed(So I was told) when awakened I was so terrified I could not fall back asleep. MY Father stayed with me for two hours until I drifted off to sleep on the couch.

I LOVE my new friends here: When I came down-stairs from my evil dream; I came here! I read verses and listened to all the songs posted in the last few weeks.

My son is doing well considering where he is...thanks for asking.

It was 131 degrees there yesterday! I can't even imagine how hot that is.

He is working really hard fixing large armored vehicles...long 12 hr days...says they are really busy.

It made me soooo happy to see his beautiful face.

When I hung up from our Skype call I just sat here and cried because I was so grateful for the opportunity to see him.

He showed me around his room using the Skype camera. We talked about 40 minutes total even with getting booted off the internet 8 times.

It was sooo wonderful....thanking God again!!

And MDW, I LOVE your new signature!!! Wonderful!!

Hi TS, Good to read your post. It IS inspiring to see how God is drawing and leading MDW. And I am with you-His love keeps me going.

MDW, It is obvious you and your Mom are close. That's wonderful. Appreciate you sharing about the dream and how you were not alone! Questions? We're all here to do whatever we can to be a blessing. It does feel good to feel good...and you know, that even effects healing too-for the good! (I sure said "good" a lot in that sentence.) well I kept reading on to 11:44 Lazarus dies and then he is resurrected.

Was this to get the people to believe in the resurrection, then made Jesus....Hold on, need to look up glorified in the dictionary...ok, look more glorified in the eyes of man?

You also had mentioned me reading some of
Revelation...WAY over my head!

I sometimes read right to left and read the part about Jezebel and decided I was not ready for Revelations.

I think i'll stick with John and Noahs Ark.

OK, about Revelation...I don't want anyone to think I encouraged you to read through that book, oh no way, ha ha. It was just one small part, very exciting part. A part that I live for...when there is a new heaven and a new earth!!!!!

Revelation 21:3-4, "And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

In Genesis we see God walked and talked with Adam and Eve...then sin and separation...then the rest of God's Love Letter (the Bible) is God drawing people to Himself wanting a relationship with His masterpiece of all creation-and He is still wooing us today, He wants a relationship with us--Hello?! That's amazing!! Hallelooooo!!

These verses in Revelation are so special to me because God is like saying (my interpretation) FINALLY!!!! YEAH!!!! We are walking together and talking together, you see you ARE MINE! I'm drying your tears, no more crying, pain is done away with... [bow]

Friends that is pretty exciting to say the least. [Big Grin]

OK, I just arrived home...took my remedies a little bit ago and now I'm going to go eat. [lick] (I"ve always wanted to use that Graemlin, finally it fit.)

Last night I went to bed with a smile I could not wipe off...actually I was that way all day.

I was informed that I was wierd... I asked "why do you say that?"

Response was: You are in pain(with LD of course) and you are happy, a wierd happy. What happened the other night?

I smiled even bigger and said;"It was between me and my God!"

Dekrator, so true...isn't MDW's smile and joy contagious. It is great to have the smile of God on us, nothing beats it! [woohoo] and halleloooo!!

Attitude, and Goditude, makes a big difference in life and living. This is going to be hard to believe, but I know you've seen it too, perfectly healthy people without Lyme and they are so miserable. Seems to be their attitude or lack thereof.

I am happy that you slept in and got some extra rest.

I spent from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm going to yard sales.

I found a couple things for my friend's granddaughter, and my grandsons...not much else today.

Getting ready to go to my grandson's ballgame soon and then swimming because it is HOT!

I wish we could load up some "Goditude" into an crop-dusting airplane and spray it all over everyone!

Hope you found some goodies at the farmer's market..there's nothing like fresh produce.

My head and neck are hurting but I am rejoicing because I am alive to enjoy this day.

PS... Could you guys pray for my husband? He woke up this morning with vertigo. He missed two gigs today because he knew he wouldn't be able to go....

and he needs to play for church tomorrow.. two services. He has no back-up for when he's gone.

Please pray!

(I was able to get hold of our dr this morning at the hospital... whew! Thank goodness for that man!)

Thanks guys.. The prayer is working. He is feeling better (has meds now of course) and hopes to be able to play tomorrow.

The only hitch is that it usually hits him at night or early morning... so we won't know until bright and early tomorrow morning if he can make it or not.

( I told my husband that we were lucky he woke up at 6 a.m. with this.. probably would not have caught the dr at the hospital later in the day. I figured he was there checking on patients. )

Fear is more of a "very healthy respect"... he is mighty and omniscient and we must remember the consequences of our actions always. That involves a bit of fear!

But mostly it is one of bigtime RESPECT.

(Didn't you always fear your dad just a bit when you got fussed at!?) But you still ran to him when you needed him!

It is great to have MDW sharing. Stirs up revival in my own soul.

Yes, more REAL, also with people sharing needs and prayer requests...knowing others care, understand and will pray.

Heared this song tonight while drivind down/up the highway wiyh no where to go. its called better than a Hallelujah by Amy Grant.
Then another song called Hold my heart by Tenth avenue North. Then another song Healing Hand of God don't no who sang that one.

Very fitting songs for my mood.

Good morning my friends,
I found this verse last night in my book of Psalms:
Psalm 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

Prayer before I put my head on the pillow:
God, thank you for accepting me and handling my broken heart with kindness. I am eager to obey and willing to trust you.

I feel healed this morning, and I am going off for the day and feed the animals at the game ranch with the boys.

Hi Friends,

Right after my feet hit the floor this morning, after I took my detox bath and watered my flowers outside (oh, yeah, and talked with my God) [Smile] I have been busy non-stop...not stressed though...so that's good.

I knew you all would be just fine without me. Now I come and check "God Thought" and am so blessed by what I read. [woohoo]

MDW, Psalm 51:17, He really comes through for those who need Him. Whoa, pity the person that doesn't need God. YIKES! Who is like our Lord?! So gentle, kind and caring!!! I like each of those songs you heard last night..beautiful.

Lymetoo, Amy Grant has a very unique voice. I've enjoyed her music through the years. I really like the one, "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path" (Psalm 119:105).

She's back in the house! missed you today, Daisy.

I did have a wonderful time with the animals and the boys today. we go every year. The deer walk the trails with us and want to be fed... pretty neat.
