Doctors, including dermatologists and psychiatrists, regard Morgellons as delusional infestation (also called delusional parasitosis).
Basically saying it's psychosomatic, but we all know how doctors love to label that for a lot of real diseases...
From the call ins on the radio station, sounds pretty serious.
What's your take on it?
There's obviously lots of posts about it on here after doing a search, I'm going to read some of those but I thought I'd post about it since hearing it on George Norry tonight.
And if you haven't done so, listen to the program about Lyme disease last year on coast coast am. two episodes with Tom Grier. They should definitely have another program on Lyme.
Every few months I've been on Humaworm just in case, because we know Lyme lowers the immune system.

Last night I found older video from coast to coast am on YouTube, so far I've only watched half of it and it's very intriguing. Dr. Amelia Withington said she came across the disease while attending a Lyme disease conference. She said that 95% that have Morgellons , have Lyme disease. From what I remember they said it could be some hybrid disease from the make sure of insect viruses and bacteria.

I heard that it might be caused by soil bacteria, such that it acts like a plant and puts out fibers. I don't know if that is correct or not in the latest thinking about it - just what I've heard.

I just don't get why "Morgellons" is being made into such a "sci-Fi" disease when I really believe from personal experience that it is truly the Filarial Worm co-infection.
I have seen what is described as fibers on the Morgellons web sites. I have also seen the same fibers as pictured on www.lymephotos.com come out of me.
If most of the people that have this are dx with Lyme disease, doesn't it make sense that it is in fact a co-infection? Remember, "Morgellons" is a name given by a nurse who thought her son had it.
The ticks are carrying TONS of parasites/worms. By giving it another name such as Morgellons, it takes away from the malady and attention that Lyme disease should get.
Just my 2 cents.
