Hi, I'd love it if people could weigh in here and just share a tidbit or two (or more?) of things they found most helpful from ILADS conference. I wish I could have made it
Very grateful. Thanks.

I'd suggest going to the ILADS website and watch slides of the speakers. You will learn a lot from the slides.

I am going to get my home tested for mold after listening to the presentation by Neil Nathan,MD. He did a great job of explaining Richie Shoemaker's studies on mold and chronic illness.
I also really enjoyed Dr. Christine Green's talk about a neurologist who 'saved the life' of a CEO who had been stricken with lyme disease. The neurologist fought for this patient, who the mainstream doctors were ready to send to a nursing home or a psych unit. She included visuals of the neurological exam, which I found very interesting.

dbpei-those were 2 of my favorite talks too. and dr G the rheumy. i finally understand how lyme arthritis relates to other arthritis's
one funny part i remember-and im not sure who said it-but an llmd -might have been J. he saidwhenyou go to a primary they tell you "you can only have one sx" i laughted out loud cuz that happened to me. i went in with about 5 sx to a new primary and i had them prioritized...but as soon as he realized i had more than one he said no-only one today-we have 15 min. and then he said i had to make 4 more appts for the 4 other sx.
ahhhhh. what a medical system we had. i did find a great PA in the office tho and have worked with her for 5 yrs or more now.
i heard new things and more info about things i had heard about and didnt understand and a few things that coudl really help me...the mito stuff and glutathione stuff and mold stuff...
but makeing it happen is another thing...
i wish i could buy the set and have it at my house to use when i was well enough-the way it is now if you buy it you have to use it online with in 2 weeks, right?
