Time for a new week and the forecast says it is going to be a sizzling week where I live.

Went for my daily walk.

Watered the gardens for only the second time this summer.

I am doing laundry. Supposed to go to a minor league baseball game this afternoon if it does not rain.

Tutu and AK are having a fun vacation week, so I hope the rest of us have a great week, too.

Hey hiker...we need to do some recruiting. ..we are getting small here. I slept good after many hours of cleaning and putting house back together yesterday after renovation. I woke at 7 with pain..took pills slept til noon...had breakfst and more pills and poured 3 wks supps. Now its two and time to get going again.

Today is last cool day before heat wave so i have to work in luvng room that doesnt have good ac. And tomorrow early i hope to mow lawn before the sizzle starts

I can see the end of this 3 yr remediation/renovation and am looking forward to having regular exercise like a walk , everyday. Etta is looking forward to that also.

But it has been impossible on top of what i have been doing to the house.

Y'all keep trying to get rid of me! (See, I'm gearing up for Texas by speaking Texan now)

It's going to be HOT, HOTTER, and HOTTEST in Texas over the next 2 weeks. Can hardly wait! I just pray I escape sunburn from taking Bactrim and traveling in the car for 9-10 hours. Our first destination is shorter this time since we're going to Abilene instead of Houston.

Had great church services today. We had a special singer and her husband is one of the original Oak Ridge Boys. (seriously) .. He and one of the other originals have been living here 20-25 yrs. He is an awesome piano player.

One of my friends from cardiac rehab came to church for the first time and that was cool. I had talked to her about coming to our church about 2-3 months ago.

We leave on Tuesday, by the way .. so I'll see you tomorrow!

Whew...only 80 here but so humid cant breathe. Had wierd night of sleep and bad morning pain so didnt mow. Im still going thru stuff so living room is empty to clean wed when helper comes back.

I went thru so many old supps and meds. I used to hild on to stuff never knowing what sx would be next but i am so pisitive about mold dx and tx im getting rid if a lot

Now im working n extra bath stuff...i have beenbso afraid of financial problems from spending so much on house im a pack rat...but house is close to done so thats going into free pile at next yard sale

Next 3 days are in 90 s with high humidity. I have two small rms with good ac. I will hang in them. Probably sleep there too even tho comfy chair is not there

I read a long article this morning by psyc dr who knows psyc dx and meds, lyme and mold. It reminded me of what i read by sheer and the nj LL psyc doc dr b. So validating to read how wrong all those docs that said it was all in my head for years were

I knew that everytume i brike down and took psyc dryg primary was pushing i feflt awful. This doc found the same thing with her patients

Im still working but at slow pace with reading breaks for rewards

Happy packing tutu!

Hiker...hope your cconstruction misery is over soon and you can enjoy your new baths.

Lisa texted me she is in VA with her dad and went on long bike ride!

Hope kams hangin in.

Very hot and humid here. Heat indexes well over 100.

My neigbor's son for some weird reason mowed part of my lawn last night with his riding mower.

Way too short for the heat and he did not finish it. I had to rake. I know he meant it as a kind gesture, but I wasn't too happy. I will just leave the rest for Alex to mow later in the week, but my yard looks funny.

Ran around getting motion detectors to replace my faulty ones early this morning. Home Depot opens at 6 and I was there.

Both bathrooms are done, although the decorator says she wants to come back Wed. and do a little touch up.

They look awesome. I still have to wait 24 hours to use the new bath shower as caulking was done today, but I am pleased.

Not walking today. My smartphone says I have already walked over 4 miles up and down stairs and running errands etc.

LP--Did you have any dry wall or sheet rock work done? If so, replace your furnace filter. The sheet rock will ruin the coils and you want a nice clean filter.

Sounds like you two have a handle on things!!

Hiker .. that is awesome that your bathrooms are ready! Woot!

I think the heat index was 102 today .. but that's nothing. That will be the actual temperature once we hit Texas .. and no, it's not a dry heat.

[Smile]

See you guys! Love ya!

Wow hiker. That was fast. Im jealous. I donthave a real furnace. I have a direct vent.rinaii heater. I clean all my machibe filtwrs a lot. I had a fan blowing air out the window when they were doing sheet rock. The screen has this round circle of dust on it. After the couple ckeans the rest of the house they will come back and do all the windows. I have 11 windows, a door and a slider.
I got somestuff done today but not as much as i want d to. Both etta and i couldnt breathe again in house but the wind wss off ocean so we have been down here a few hour. I even wslked her without a cane or anything for about 7 min

Now the helper has to cometomorrow instead of wed. Sheesh. Then shows s on vacay two weeks so i guess i will be up most of night getting ready for her. I seem ti work better under pressure anyway.

Its so nice herr idont want to leave til the wind changes or mosquitoes come

My WHOLE yard looks awful hiker. I just cant worry about it now

I forgot to tell u. 3 days ago i noticed a large newly dug hole going under the shed. It was about as close to house as it could be ...maybe 3-4' ifiguted it was woodchuck or skunk. So i put the radio on in the shed loud talking sports radio. And at night i kept all outside lights on. The next day it looked the same so i soaked a rag in ammonia and put it down the hole. Today when i was washing dishes i saw the woodchuck running down the road. Later i saw 3 chipmunks leaving. Where would you guys be we ithout my critter stories/?

I keep seeing snakes in my yard. Must be a momma with babies. As long as they stay out of the house, I am fine with them.

I got on a cleaning binge and cleaned most of the house after the workers left.

The handle on my screen door broke, but since I have a double door I had saved the second handle and repaired that myself.

I should sleep well tonight.

Happy travels, tutu. I go home to my folks tomorrow evening since my brother and his wife are coming up from Georgia for a few days.

Hiker. Have a good visit. My brother is home from hospital, back surgery and doing well. He doesnt want to speak to me. Im not tolerant of substance abuse. Itgot between us. Supposeably he has stopped for this surgery and hip replacement in six months. If it works he may be able to work again and that will make him very happy.

If he really stops the drinking and stuff we may end up having a relationship. We live 40 min from each other. All other siblings are in CT, FL, and AK

it would be nice if we could get along

LP--keep praying that your brother can stop the substance abuse. Never give up hope.

I am fortunate that my brother and I get along. We are totally different--I am an introvert; he is an extrovert. But we have a lot of similar interests.

Too hot today to do much. Got my hair cut, ran to Walgreens to get a timer for the lamp as mine broke last night.

Will vacuum the car and maybe take a nap.

Sheesh. With everyone taking off this may turn into my personal journal. We really need some new exercisers

So it only got to 89 yestetday but is already 90 tody. Humid too. I could not force myself to get up early to go get new storage unit and tke stuff over in coolest part of day. I felt drugged...but i had worked really hard in heat fir 48 hrs with 4 hrs sleep.

I finally got stirage and took a small load over...when i put down first tote it looked like baby ticks had hatched. I didnt think this was when they did that. Im taking a short rest and going back with permethrin.

Of all days...they are paving my road so it will be a pain going back and forth.

Hope all are safe and having fun on their journeys.

lp--HELLO, I walked 35 minutes this morning while my brother and his wife were off doing their exercise routine.

Going to take a nap and we will go out to dinner to a nice restaurant tonight and then celebrate mom's birthday with champagne.

Sounds like you are getting stuff done bit by bit.

I took a second load-small one in my tiny car...i think ten light totes altogether.

I did spray the ticks. They really look like ticks. They are very active. It seems wierd to me cuz its all concrete and hot and dry. I sprayed them ... i hope they died quick.

The rest of the afternoon i packrd up large clothes to yard sale and unpacked next size down and got them put away

I have been stuck at same weight for almost a week and i even stopped the chiro and mold tx on the days the helpers were here .

Im glad i can get back on everything soon.

So far ive kept the house clean! Yay me!

Yesterday I walked 40 minutes and today 30 minutes before the heat arrived. No trekking poles needed.

Dropped my brother and his wife at the train station this morning and came back to my own house. I enjoyed their visit with my parents, but I barely got any time with my brother alone.

Ran to 3 grocery stores this morning and will do an energy healing this afternoon.

LP--How did the yard sale go?

Yard sale is tomorrow. I managed to take a big load to storage this morning. Rested. And took the afternoon to load truck for yard sale. Im going to bed early and yard sale early so i can close it before it gets too hot

I can handle a yard sale here with ac to escape to but i may be in over my head overthere. So i think it should be less time

Im happy to get a chance to get rid of more stuff tho

Washed the car today, but am taking it easy otherwise.

Energy healer said she killed more H. pylori yesterday and I am toxic today. Still I would rather have her kill it then use antibiotics.
