Hi <<<<< Lymenet Family >>>>>,

You've heard of Migraine headaches... well we've got a Medicaid headache... OwOOoooooow!

First the Dental issues, As mentioned before medicid will not pay for anything but tooth pulling.

They sent me to an Oral Surgeon, he cannot do anything w/ out a regular dental consult 1st. He sent me to a Dentist [remember, they cannot do anything but pull teeth under Medicaid].

I have a tooth that must be pulled, the "'caries' into pulp, and too near the nerve,to sensitive must be pulled. I am going back to the Oral Surgeon, who cannot do anything, without yet another consult. He must get authorization thru Medicaid. They can choose not to authorize,or to make us pay half.

If we have to pay anything over $100 we cannot have it done[ no way to know 'til we get the consult and eval. done.

On to the Neuro issue, Medicaid will not pay for a 24 Hour EEG, without the patient coming up with half [ our half would be $1300]. The end of the month I have an appt. to discuss the blood labs w/ the Neuro'.

So we are getting, nowhere fast... OwWoooow.

Oh and don't gt me started on quality of Medicaid eyeglasses... I barely got them home, and one screw that holds the lens in place is loose.
Really it is ridiculous, I am not a soccer player butting the ball with my head, loosing and damaging glasses and noggin.

I'm just gentle Aunty Wolfi

I'm gonna rest, for now, will try to check back in later.

Oh, when TxCoord checked in w/ the 'Insurance' division we are under for Medicaid, they conveniently forgot t mention the patient must pay half of the 24hr. EEG ,if they choose eventually to authorize it.

Jus' Silverwolfi muttering to myself...

I wish someone would come along and point out we truly have the worst healthcare system in the world.

Hi <<<<< Lymetoo and Jordana >>>>>,

Thanks for the commiseration, it is very disheartening to say the least, what goes on, doesn't go on in the name of healthcare.
