Woke up to pretty snow. Had to take first ibuprofen in vrry long time. Company and cleaners had me using shoulder too much.

I began day organzing mold doc file so i could find maguc number for taxes. I would save money if i could be much more organized to ask questuons and wrutw down answers for appts but it always seems to be too hard

I think there will be only one more appt after last blood draw

Cleaners come tomorrow to finish all but windiws ten hours. $20.00.

LP--Will be nice to have your home clean, though, I know it is expensive.

Went to church this morning. I love morning prayers services sometimes more than the Eucharist services. Seem to peaceful.

Set out for a walk, since it is warm but the wind is again 30-40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph, so I turned back after a block or so. Don't feel like getting on the exercise bike, but have not had much exercise this week at all. May just finish up laundry and make it a day of rest.

Alex is coming to mow this afternoon. Thank God for this teenager!

Have a great week. [Smile]

Monday-Survived surgery but had complications with heart rate being in the 40's. Couple times alarm went off at my bed and nurse would come in and tell me to breathe.

I think my blood pressure med (toprol 200 mg) and anesthesia contraindicated each other.

GP has since cut down my med to half and I feel better.

Waiting on pathology report but sure I'm ok.

Glad that's behind me.

ALW.....looking forward to hearing when you are back at home. Speedy recovery. Brave woman.

LP..yes...a clean home is good.

I saw where a local church will start summer church services outdoors at 8 am. I am going to try and go to it when health allows.

REally like that is outdoors but wondering about the traffic noise in that area. Looks like they put in a new walkway...one that is paved or cement so that will work better with the power chair.

Had a good outing yesterday with friend. We picked up a trash bag full of trash...she did most of the picking up but I was doing well enough I could get out of power chair and pick up things now and then.

Rosie had a good run too...I think we were out for an hour...but not really sure..if so..that is a first for me and being in a power chair...I do better if I am moving for some reason.

Could not have done that if the power chair was not moving.

Did something this am but darn if i can recall...ah yes...picked up a few groceries...lasted longer than usual...i think 20 min this time plus how ever long it took to check out.

This weeks goal is to get the neuro appointment set up.

AK .. Glad you are over the surgery! Keep us posted on your progress!

I went to hubby's show again on Sunday and I got to meet another celebrity. It was great to talk to him.

I planted some of my bedding plants on my front porch and balcony. The wasps kept running me off. Very scary. Hope I can win the battle without ending up in the ER. [Frown]

Tutu...that would be very gard for me...the wasps. Maybe you can find the nest and encourage them to leave . The white faced ones can be very aggressive. Becareful

Ak praying you're bettersoon. I know from dil bp meds are very tricky

Hiker i think i will be happy with a clean house but they have just cancled a second time and i am.realy wondering what is going on.

Last week...all that money and it was like they just kept cleaning in the same spot and later i realized it was still dirty. Like make the cloth black dirty

Then two separate crazy sounding emergencies came up. How can a doc call someone and say i can fit you in for colonoscopy in two hours...they cant do that without a major prep, right?

I wonder if the changes i see in them are drug using behavior

So...i raged out when i got the news and im sitting in comfy chair to re plan day

The diverticulitus seems to be coming back. I havent eaten bad but had a lot of stress over sons visit..and also taxes. .im back on really strict diet and tryingvto relax

I have cranial in the morning and first appt with chiro thurs

Rosie is doing better but still needs to get back to eating like she was before last week happened.

Thanks for asking. Rosie acts fine though.

Took her out early this am via the power chair to toilet then again shortly afterwards in the car....

1st stop was the local PD department as the homeless guy played chicken with me ..he on his bike and me in my car in the apartment parking lot.

he sleeps under the bridge near the apartments with his dog.

I think that is about it for today so far. I drove in the local campground that is empty while rosie ran a bit this am.

Able to get Rosie's canned food put away. Able to get the bottle watered I ordered put away. I heard it helped others with POTS/OI symptoms but now that I have it here....I think it is just a gimmick...it is supposed to have more electrolytes and be oxygenated whatever that means.

I have heard of oxygenated water and have had it before but this water doesn't seem any different than the water from my brita pitcher.

Brain is working well enough today that I can think of lots of things I would like to do but the body is not working well enough nor is the brain when I get up and try to move about.

NO way in two hours. Did you ask them how in the world that was possible?

What was the other call?

Lp--I think I would look for a new cleaning service. I went through 2 before I found the cleaning lady I now have and like.

I finally got on the exercise bike today. Only rode 10 minutes, but I think I will have to build back up gradually as I have not exercised much the past few weeks.

Cool here--chance of snow later in the week, so I can't imagine planting anything right now.

AK--when do you get home???

Oh sorry guys, it was outpatient surgery. Once heart rate was better they sent me home the same day.

Trimmed bushes today and did grocery shopping with Mom. Cooking dinner now.

See you all tomorrow!

I have 2 speeds.....stop and go! Yes, I need to slow down but my back's been hurting from all the laying around I've been doing.

Going to a car wash with Mom and her friend. Someone had 4 family members pass away in a car accident and they're raising money for the funeral through a car wash.

The plan is to relax a bit today. Washing bedding now and will just take my time with other things today.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

ALW..read that has watching bedding....my wondered why you were watching the flowers in your garden

??? I even visualized lots of blooming plants in the bedding???

OK. Let's see if I can recall what I did this am.

Soaked feet in epsom salt bin for 15 min. Took Rosie out to toilet via power chair. Short outing.

Wanted to clean microwave...not able

Able to drag boxes out to hallway...a neighbor carries them to the dumpster for me

Able to carry styrofoam ice chest I found to other neighbor and leave it outside his door.

Saw an article about how they can be turned into a home for feral cats to keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer...he feeds a couple of feral cats we have here

Able to fix printer...hurray! Not sure what I did. hope it continues to work.

Able to print out list for person who is coming to help today...but thinking the list most likely will just confuse her more...I hope not..I tried to type out things step by step.

Able to take Rosie to groomers to get her nails clipped.

Able to take Rosie to rodeo grounds for off leash time.

One of those mornings I need to focus on can do's as the can't do's were getting me down

able to pick up written estimate of what it would cost to get front end of car fixed....

ok brain is gone now bu *** is 10:21 and I have been awake since 4 so able to do more this am than baseline

also able to figure out I needed to move printer closer to bed and put laptop on top of printer for easier access of both while I am laying in bed

so much more i would like to do around here but just got up to go to the bathroom and brain and body were so out of it..i know it is time to veg

watch a movie or TV show on hulu....do not recall if i mentioned a friend loaned me her roku so i could see if taht worked for me

enjoying catching up on greys anatomy, bones and last night scandal....really dislike that I get sucked in by Scandal but I do

it got too dark for me when i had tv service so stopped watching it

Rosie--You sure did a lot!! Definitely a CAN DO day for you. Hurrah!

Wednesday, I rode the exercise bike 15 minutes. But I am not nearly at the exercise level I was earlier this year. I will get back there eventually.

Still trying to decide about energy healer. I think I will keep my appointment tomorrow and then take a hiatus.

KAM the homeless guy sounds scarey. I hope the cops took you seriously. Im glad rosies on the mend.

Tutu the first thing was she got called into her regular job in hospital lab...that would have made sense if she texted me on her way in. She waited until half hour after she was supposed to be here and tild me the guy she works with was busy with something else...but they had
been scgeduled with me!?!

Anyway. When i realized it was stressing me
out they might cancel again i tild them not
toccome. Had a good session with cranial guy and made progress on taxes

My new ish handiman stopped by to look at some dangling wires that concerned me and talk about a few odds and ends

He told me the guy that did the bathroom reno last summer didnt put siding back correctly and water is probaby getting in

Soooo...have to think about that. I havent been able . To contact him...i tried cuz he never gave me receipt for labor for my taxes...

KAM...pat attention here! When you start thinking about buying a house....you never know about these expenses...they keep comibg

Hiker...yeah...im gonna have to shop around for cleaners

Good job, kam .. I think the epsom salts must really help you. I know they are good for a lot of things.

hiker .. I agree with you about the healer. She seems to bring out more bad stuff than you need to deal with sometimes. Take a break and see how you feel.

PS .. I'm still improving since stopping the Vit B6. I think it was a real problem for me.

I didn't do much yesterday, but I did make a quick run to Wal Mart. I was in and out in about 7 minutes. That's got to be a record of some kind!

tutu..it is mindboggling to me how a little pill can make such a big difference or in some cases be not a good thing.

good to know what helps and what doesn't.

i think i forgot to take the magnesium recently. So, took it today. So far I have not had that thing my toes/foot does that hurts....you can physically see the toes pulled apart from the rest of the toes.

Could not recall what i did yesterday evening. Wanted to write it on the calendar. So, when vision is doing better, I will reread what I wrote.

Have not run into homeless guy on bike with dog the past two days...and construction has started on either side of the bridge...so hoping I will not see him again

Not a concern if he doesn't bother me..but that was weird behavior the other day and not welcomed.

Looked him straight in the eye and felt the hair on my neck do that thing it does ....fight or flight thing..

Ok. Took Rosie out twice in power chair this am. And once in car. We went to the rodeo grounds. I parked the car and let her out to have her off leash time.

I reclined in car...it was short...but seemed to finally settle her down. She has not bothered me since we got back.

I have yet to get dressed this am. I put my coat over my robe for the morning outings.

Seems like I did something else...ah yes..went to ATM machine and got some cash. A neighobr is picking up fish and chips or in my case fish adn coleslaw today.

A person is coming over today to help with paper work. I have yet ot open mail as vision has not been good enough to see what is in the enveleopes.

Anotehr eson who is starting a new cleaning business in town is stopping by today...not sure if she will be cleanign today or anotehr time.

She posted an offer on FB on the local businesses page re: offering her services for free to an elderly person.

Another local businessman in town thought of me and sent her an email about me.

Nice he thought of me...but I am still trying to get over being in the class as an elderly senior citizen.

i am still back at being 50 where I was before lyme disease hit..waiting for health to get better...

In the meantime, 15 years has passed so I am in the senior citizen class. Ugh Ugh Ugh

not only that but their are people in their 90's who are able to do more than I am able to do.

As far as purchasing a home. I came up short the last two weeks of the month as far as purchasing food.

I can not imagine having a house payment that most likely will be 3 times what i am paying now.

But, I will cross that bridge when I come to it. do not even know if I will qualify for a loan at this time...still waiting for one more paper to get to the organization that is considering me.

Looks like I need to go in person to get it as trying to do things via the mail is not working.

on the other hand, when i do go in person to get papers needed I have been told they mailed them to me so something is up with the local mail delivery service.

So far there are 3 things documented that were sent to me I did not receive and only learned about it due to going in person to pick up the papers.

Able to move the larger patio table and the smaller patio table this am...switched them as plants seem to do better in one location on the patio vs another location.

One plant is not looking good. Hoping the new location perks it up. It is so weak right now.

I think today is the day it is supposed to be 20 degrees cooler and possible rain but so far...not feeling any temperature change...but things do change around here from one outing with Rosie to another

I still have not gotten dressed yet. I did do breakfast...it was all ready fixed for me...and took pills. down to just taking gabapetin, turmeric, vit c and tramadol right now.

I know I was taking more in the past but can not recall what it was nor do I know if I have the funds if I could recall what it was.

Someone mentioned something to help with the brain stuff but have yet to have the brain working well enough to look into what it cost and learn more

Thursday-Chiro appt. today. Forgot to mention outside of the applied kinesology that he does, he uses homeopathics, vitamins, adjustments and cold laser.

I'm on viral and aluminum homeopathics along with liquid fish oil/vitamin combo. Also he has me drinking something called 'Kangen' water.

Haven't felt well since taking the aluminum so probably detoxing to much. I might add my own apple pectin to help detox.

RosieKam-Go with your gut in regards to weirdo. Hair standing up is not good. Be careful!

Hiker-My chiro is doing emotional release stuff with me. He freaked me out the other day when he mentioned I had an 'issue' with my throat (not being able to speak my mind) and neck (confusion) that occurred in August 2015. Well, my marriage fell completely apart on July 30 and I moved in with my Mom August 1. How can he possibly know that? Freaky!

Kayak-I miss my therapist that did craniosacral work. My new chiro does some too but not the same technique. One time my old therapist did something that seemed like just putting her fingers in my ears. Well.....I fell asleep! I was so embarrassed. She said something about adjusting my autonomic nervous system. Obviously worked.

TuTu-How in the world did you manage to get out of Walmart in 7 minutes! I try not to go because you have to wait so long in line. It's terrible down here.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm just THAT GOOD!! [lol] I always use the automated check-outs if I can. I just needed a few things and was able to get a parking spot that was close too. It was amazing. Haha.. the things that make us happy! [Big Grin]

I also saved the life of a woodchuck today! He was crossing the road and when I braked for him, he panicked but he made it across. Whew!

Kam .. Hope you can keep finding out what works for you!

KAM-I dont mind being elderly when they have senior specials at reaturants...

Ak my cranial guy always ends with the ear thing. He talks too much sometimes tryingvto help me but he doesnt understand the words wear me out. He is telling me to do things that i just cant do now...but he doesnt get it. If i just zone out and not answer him i know my body gets what it needs

I forgot to mention when i saw him yesterday i tild him the divertuculitis was back and i hoped i could get better without going to doc or er and back on flagyl. He offered to work on it and the pain was gone when i left. He could feel adhesions from ovary surgery. I could feel when he hit one too and how the pain goes away when he gets it to release.

Ak that is freaky about the chiro and august...hope hes just good...and didnt find out from googling you!

Tutu today i felt happy looking out window at my baby blue spruce. Its the first thing i planted d in my special bed out front 2-3 yrs ago. I could see the difference in color on each limb where theres new growth...hes a slow grower so tht made me realky happy

Oh...also today new chiro said two surprising things. 1. My body really needs the neurontin...even tho mostly he doesnt like precsriptions and 2.he confirms worst problem my body has now is colon...liver is bad but have to fix colon first

He only wants to see me twice a month...

I did find lymph massage person but dont think i can afford it

Good day at work. Kids worked quietly and productively. I got smart and had them turn in their work packets in groups of 4, so I only had 8 packets in each class to grade.

They have to look them all over, sign one that they agree before turning it in. And if they don't do their own packet, they cannot be part of the group.

Walked 20 minutes after work with trekking poles. Perfect day for it--sunny and 50 with no wind.

Freeze warnings going out tomorrow night and wind will pick up. Ugh!

Tutu--I hate Walmart. Hardly ever go there even though it is cheaper than Kroger grocery or the local Jewel grocery. Glad you could breeze in and out.

LP--seems like you have lot going on with medical stuff and home stuff. I bet it can get overwhelming.

AK-I like my chiropractor, too, although I just have her use the pro-adjuster on my neck and spine and the punch on my joints. She does not energy test.

I hate Wal Mart too. But it's the closest grocery store... so I often end up there. Sigh.

They (woodchucks) are interesting to see! We have quite a few around here. They try to stay hidden most of the time. Some are brave.

I've seen a few foxes here, but they stay hidden too! Lots of forests.

Kayak ..Don't feel badly. I haven't started on mine. I usually get an extension. But I DO need to get busy on it.

Friday-Slept alot last night. No pain pills or muscle relaxers, just half a sleeping pill and advil pm.

My plan today is just to go house hunting with Josh and shop for b-day gift for step-grandbaby and throw a lasagna in the oven.

Had to cut back on aluminum drops and drink more water. Also keeping a food and water diary (how embarrassing).

TuTu-Woodchuck (1) Pet death highway (0). Had a neighbor that would stop and save turtles crossing the road.

Kayak-Applied kinesology is new to me and it kinda freaks me out. But my gut is saying to trust him. That's really, really hard for me to do. I've read quite a few threads here about people using ART which is basically the same. Hope it will help.

Hiker-My chiro is using some type of instruments too. He's listed as a chiropractor online but he practices functional medicine. Right now he's concentrating on emotional release, detox and very minor adjustments. Apparently I'm chock full of metals.

RosieKam-I use to have either woodchucks or chipmunks at my old property. Think they were chipmunks though. Now I'll have to google them to check.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I was going to point that out.. Woodchucks are BIG .. Think Puxtehany(sp) Phil!!

I was wondering about the aluminum too. I do hope it is for REMOVING aluminum from the body.

Kayak .. I doubt I'll get any $$ money back. I rarely do.

It's aluminum homeopathic drops. Suppose to detox that metal but sure makes me sick. Taking fish oil/vitamin liquid as a binder. I read about silica too. Hope this protocol helps me.

Usual Saturday grocery shopping and cooking.

Walked a little bit. Sunny but in the 30's. Had a hard freeze last night. Sure didn't hurt the dandelion crop in the yard.

I had my last energy healing for awhile. Quite powerful. Surprisingly the energy healer thought a break was a good idea. She pointed out that I am so scientific and analytical and always want to be in control, rather than leaving it up to God. She said that can actually be a hindrance in energy healing. Anyway, I feel at peace about it.

"Dementia people?" .. Did I miss something?

I just realized that DE is silica. (forgot) When I tried it two years ago, I broke out in a HORRIBLE rash on my face that lasted several weeks. Perhaps parasite die-off?

I never tried it again.. and soon after that is when I fell off the histamine wagon.

I bought some Fiji water last month and more the other day. I will just continue to drink it here and there.

hiker .. Sounds like a plan.

Saturday-Went to step-grandbaby's bday party and had a blast. She's 2 years old now. It was at a local frozen yogurt place that has an outdoor play area. Ate too much frozen yogurt and cake.

Josh and I looked at 2 more houses today, one looking very promising.

Outside of that plan on vegging out. My Mom went to a luncheon today and is going to her BFF's house for dinner so Josh and I are on our own.

Hope everyone has terrific weekend!

We had snow today. Enough that everything is white though the roads are bare.

Hubby went outside and made a snowball that he threw at one of the boys. Missed!

I didnt know sulica is DE. Ive had DE in my cupboard fir two years and have been afraid to use it but the silica the doc said to get is pretty easy to get down. No taste. Just a little gritty. Its the consistency of aloe
