Strolling the beach, walking the treadmill? Are you gardening, cleaning, shopping. All counts as exercise.

So, get ready for another week of movement. [woohoo]

I did my shoulder exercises, but still have one set to go.

Also did one set of balance exercises.

Walked a teeny bit outside.

Did a load of laundry.

Have a great week! [hi]

Hey there!

We got home last night from our trip .. hubby's gig about 4 hours away.

We have a huge HEPA filter running at home and it's better in here but I still feel lousy.

Our church is getting a new roof .. and I'm pretty sure there's mold there too.

Not sure what I will do today.

The shower that was ordered for our bathroom came in cracked, so another one is on order. It will probably be late this week before it comes in ... IF it even comes this week.

Tutu--What a bummer about your shower.

Bad news day here. My aunt who lives in Alabama is not expected to live more than another day or two, although she might surprise us. She is 97.

I last saw her 3 years ago and that is when I met AK.

My closest cousin, Pam, has ovarian cancer and the outlook is not good. Please lift her up in prayer. We talk and write often, but she doesn't text or have email since she worked for the postal service.

I did my shoulder exercises at home and then went to PT.

Also, did my balance leg exercises.

Went to dentist this morning. Still watching a couple of teeth, but no need for drilling now. Hurrah!

My beloved aunt Dorothy passed away this afternoon at the age of 97. Sadly, I had to be the one to tell my father who is just a year younger.

Hiker I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Aunt. I know that you loved her very much since you drove so far to visit with her. I'll be praying for you and your family!

For exercise today I did my PT and arm routine and ironed clothes for Josh who starts back to work this Thursday.

TuTu I hope that shower comes in a timely manner.

Night gang!

I did my shoulder exercises and a few leg exercises.

Ran some errands to get some supplements, to the library, and to fill the car with gas.

Friends coming over later to help me water.

Just got back from prompt care or some would call urgent care. Thought I might have an ear infection and the energy healer thought I might have an ear infection but the doctor could find no signs of one.

I was in and out of there in 30 minutes and was very impressed with the questions that she asked me.

Probably the sinus infection is pushing on my eustachian tube and causing pain. Best $30 I’ve ever spent to relieve my anxiety.

Hiker you still battling the sinus infection? I hope you get some relief soon!

Just PT and vegged at Josh's. We went for a late lunch at a Thai restaurant that he wanted me to try. Loved the spring rolls and I ordered a dish called Radna with pork and brocolli. Pretty tasty.

We watched 2 movies from Redbox, an action/adventure and a thriller movie. Nothing really scary, thank God!

My friend is having car trouble again so we swapped cars and I'm taking hers to the shop super early in the morning.

Hope to make it to the gym too.

See everyone tomorrow!

Did my shoulder exercises at home and then went to physical therapy and worked hard.

Went to chiropractor afterwards.

I am going to look at a condo tomorrow afternoon. I am not ready to move in terms of physically being able to sort and pack, but it is in an area I am interested in.

Ak--I need you to come up and help me move. [Big Grin]

Didn't make it to the gym so just did my PT at home. Took Mom to PT and ran errands, so we were out from 10:30 to about 5:00. Now were both just vegging.

It was in the high 90's today but it's cooling down and overcast. We're going to be getting some much needed rain.

Hiker moving is such a huge job! I've helped family move quite a bit and also some friends. I think the hardest part is the packing and labeling boxes. If you need help let me know!

See everyone tomorrow!

Ak--I will need help!!

I did put an offer in on the condo I looked at today. Praying it is accepted.

We wrote in that I don't want to close until midSeptember so I have time to strengthen legs and shoulder a bit and start sorting through my stuff. Then will need a few things done to condo before I move. (if I move)

I did my PT exercises twice and went grocery shopping.

Went to neurologist and she agreed when I am done with shoulder therapy I need to start balance therapy.

I did my shoulder exercises at home and then went to PT and did more. He added one for home.

Spent some of the day counteroffering on the condo and my offer was accepted. [woohoo] Closing isn't until September 30.

Now the problem is getting a permit from the condo association to either put in a handrail on the front porch or recementing the sidewalk so there is no step. I want the permit as soon as possible, so I can hire the workman to do the job as soon as I close.

I can't move in until this is done and until stairlift is put in for basement. Need a handrail on back porch and garage step as well.

I would like to replace the ceramic tile as I don't balance well on hard surfaces and it is slick, but again I need to be able to get a workman there in advance of the move to measure and give an estimate.

I bet ripping tile out is expensive. Replacing
with vinyl or linoleum.

I did go through my shoes and am getting rid of most of them. Never wear them and through the years my feet have changed. Also went through my belts.

I have so much stuff to go through. Some will go to charity and some I will try to sell.

Realtor is coming next week to take pics of house and do measurements and figure out what we should price this at.

Needless to say I didn't sleep much last night and am stressed out but also happy. [Smile]

THAT'S AWESOME, HIKER!!

I hope everything works out!!

When they jackhammer that tile, be sure to cover the carpet .. the dust will be insane!!

(and make sure the HVAC is turned OFF the whole time)

Tutu—Thanks for the tip about the ceramic tile. I would never have thought to cover the carpet or turn off the HVAC system. I would really love cork flooring but I don’t think I can afford it.

I did my shoulder exercises twice today. I got a new exercise and I’m really sore. That is a bummer because I’m driving an hour to my folks tomorrow morning and an hour back tomorrow night.

I did a load of laundry. And I did some cooking.

I’ve been up and down the stairs about 1000 times today to do some cleaning out and to take some pictures of things I want to give away or sell. I posted them on next-door and so far the only thing to be gone is my paper cutter.

I have a lot more items to sell especially my big ticket ones like my lawn more, hedge trimmer, weed whacker, leaf blower, snow blower. I am kind of hoping if I sell this house the person will need these things and we can write it into the contract.

I’m not sure when the house is going on the market. Realtor coming out early next week to take pictures and get it priced.

I hauled a bunch of stuff out to the trash. I made a big pile downstairs of larger items that need to go into bulky trash and my neighbor is coming over later to help me carry it out to the curb.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg. LOL

Until my neighbor comes over I think I’m just going to relax with ice on my shoulder and pick up a book.

Monumental tasks .. but it will get done!

Your snow removal will now be taken care of? That would be such a blessing!
