ps. I had great success gifting his last book with many of my health care providers. Not only did they read it, but it got passed around the office for staff to read as well.
I have already pre-ordered many books for my family and health care providers knowing people want this information to help their loved ones and their patients.

I'm reading this book now, slowly, very slowly because it's dense with details -- just like I like it, but it is definitely NOT a speed read!
I'm learning so much about persister cells and the new triple (and sometimes even quadruple) antibiotic combination protocols for treating them (Chap. 4) that my copy looks like a child's coloring book, with everything underlined in different colors.
I plan to buy it in electronic form as a back-up copy for myself, plus another copy in print form for our Lyme-friendly PCP, because he's an adjunct prof. here in TAMU's Medical College.
This book is encyclopedic in nature, a very affordable paperback medical textbook on the subject of Lyme disease.
All it lacks is medical references to qualify as a medical textbook, but that was not his purpose in writing it, so he intentionally omitted the reference citations.
Nevertheless, he gave enough clues about authors and dates of publication that it's no problem at all to find the pertinent references on PubMed.
For anyone with vision problems, I recommend the electronic version because then you can enlarge the font to suit yourself.
