If anyone is thinking of relocating due to health reasons, here's a website that shows economic and population data to locations all over the United States.

Also consider water sources, area and into the home including material used for pipes and farm / industrial chemical run-off in the area, etc. Air patterns of pollution, too.

Winds usually flow west to east. The east side of any highway usually has worse air than the west side. For those with asthma -- well, really, for anyone with lungs -- this matters.

there are some websites that have this and I'll try to look in my file notes soon to see if I can find those.

The Sierra Club chapters in areas considered would be good to talk with as well.

Water Bureau reports can sometimes help yet sometimes they obscure problems. Flint, MI has not been the only community to be clobbered by toxic water.

Keep in mind: industrial animal "farming" for their waste disposal can be toxic to waterways and farming water sources.

Noise is also a consideration. Proposed towers, industrial sites, etc. Again, I know there is a data site that has some of this. I will look for it within a few days.

Freeways are louder for longer distances than one might think. There are different kinds of noise to consider, various types of vibrations.

Buildings with industrial fans, night trucking in of supplies to grocers, warehouses, etc. keep in mind.

Not easy to plan yet even neighbors with hot tubs can be torture due to the motors that often go all night long most months.

I would think one would also want a state in which a MD is allowed to diagnose and treat all tick borne or chronic stealth infections. Being is a state where naturopathic physicians are also allowed to practice independently is a plus.

Humidity, another concern, of course. More than 1/3 of the U.S. is prone to high humidity due to where they lie near the northern flowing air stream patterns from the Gulf of Mexico.
