CANADA- BEWARE- CHECK IT OUT

In this upcoming study (4 Infectious Disease docs) they will be doing what the HORRIBLE studies here did years ago, that we've all been stuck with since.

Like the Tuskeegee Experiment.

It appears they will be doing nothing new and are still trying to culture spirochetes from biopsies of Lyme rashes.

It doesn't work well at all. Even the 2005 Hopkins study- 3 cultures done- 1 grew, 1 didn't, and 1 was contaminated.

AND IT APPEARS...

THEY ARE NOT OFFERING TREATMENT- JUST WILL BE OBSERVING PATIENTS TO SEE HOW SICK THEY GET- ACCORDING TO THIS ARTICLE. ??

QUOTE- "Although the project is still in the planning stages, the idea is that patients who are suspected of having Lyme disease will be approached and asked if they want to participate in the research network study.

For those that do, on their initial visit records will be made of how they're feeling and the type of symptoms they have, and blood samples will be collected.

If the patients have a bulls-eye rash or rash of any sort, a skin biopsy will be taken to see if researchers can grow the Lyme bug from there.

And then they'll be followed over time, to see how they do clinically and how their symptoms resolve, according to Hatchette.

"One of the cool things is trying to get the bug, so if we can actually get the specimens that we can use for generating new tests.

"But also, we can try to see what bugs, or what strains of Lyme disease are infecting the patients, to get a better idea of strain variation here, and compare it to Ontario," says Hatchette."

Keep in mind they are getting tons of funding to do this... so at the VERY least, if someone were to participate, there should be NO charge at all for anything.

Then INFECTIOUS DISEASE DOCTORS who are universally miserable when it comes to anything Lyme, will be writing the report from their point of view.

That report could hurt many people, as they've done here.

If it were me, I'd run from this mess.

BB.. You can go to www.tinyurl.com to make that link smaller. Then it would be easier to read what everyone is writing here.
