Will Punxsutawney Phil, Beauregard Lee & Staten Island Chuck see their shadows on February 2?

Hopefully that's a big fat NO!!!

If they see their shadows we will have another six weeks of winter!

[Eek!]

"THANK GOD" - "EARLY SPRING"

 -

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Did the groundhog see his shadow 2019 today, did Phil see his shadow today February 2, and what happened to Punxsutawney Phil and Gobblers Knob this morning 2/2/19?

Punxsutawney Phil DID NOT see his shadow today February 2, 2019, predicting an early spring. (Instead, had he seen his shadow, his prediction would have been for a late spring and six more weeks of winter).

Groundhog Day Results 2019 for February 2, 2019 have been announced. Last year predictions were split, in 2017 they were split, and in 2016 they were unanimous.

DID THE GROUNDHOG SEE HIS SHADOW 2019: DID PHIL SEE HIS SHADOW TODAY.

In 2018 Phil predicted more winter, Gen. Beauregard Lee agreed, but Chuck predicted an early spring. This year all three agree on an early spring. But Phil is certainly not the only one in the groundhog weather game.

Other groundhogs include Sutton Sammy of Ontario, Chuckles of Manchester, Conn., Shubenacadie Sam in Nova Scotia, and General Beauregard Lee of Lilburn, Ga. Many weather analysts tells news that Staten Island Chuck (who has changed over the year) has been more accurate.

Yet, in 2010 Mayor Bloomberg told news “I think it’s clear who the champion really was.” The last two years, Bloomberg has told local news reporters that Phil should get up the title of top groundhog to Charles.

In 2010 he said to news “I think I have to be magnanimous and say that he put up a good fight. I think it’s clear who the champion really was.”

He added “Last year, I was willing to put that finger, right here, in the way to protect the people of this great borough.

The only thing that stood between Chuck and you getting bitten was my finger and I have a scar to prove exactly how much I love one off the five best boroughs we have.” Today’s Staten Island Chuck is different than previous years. Today’s groundhog is “Chuck’s” daughter.

In 2015 there was disagreement for the groundhogs. For the last four years, these three groundhogs have battled over accuracy of their predictions.

Phil’s supporters claim he has a one hundred percent accuracy. But news reporters remind readers today such is not the case. Phil’s accuracy has fallen to a mere thirty-nine percent in recent years.

But for the first time in nearly four years, in 2106 all the “hogs” agreed, all did not see their shadow, all three predicted an early spring.

YEAH! Good deal! Thanks Steve for the pics!

Gotta love Phil! And you all too!

[Big Grin]

Please note I'd have bitten you all if the news wasn't good. You know that, don't you?
