Pt exercises twice. The pain in my shoulder is not getting less, but range of motion is better.

Washed the car at the car wash with the wand. So much cheaper than the drive through and gets it cleaner.

Need to do a load of laundry.

Will watch the Super Bowl. I rarely eat cheese but bought some extra sharp cheddar to snack on during the game.

Hope everyone has a great week full of movement and joy. [Smile]

Thanks TuTu for getting us going this week!

Hiker-I had 2 loads of laundry to do today. I caught the last half of the Super Bowl and am watching the Puppy Bowl now. Great game!

Just ran a couple errands today and roasted leg quarters, carrots and zucchini and packaged red potato wedges for dinner. Josh came for dinner and watched some of the game with me.

Getting up at 5:30 to take Mom to Atlanta for a MRI of her liver followed by an appointment with her Doc who is treating her cancer.

Please remember her in your prayers.

Will let you all know how everything is going.

Night all!

Didn't like the game as much in the second half as the first. LOL.

Hiker ..Hope you had a great evening.

AK .. Prayers for your Mom and a safe trip too!

We vegged out most of the day. Neither one of us slept well last night.

AK--Hope all went well with your mom's medical visit.

Did my PT exercises twice.

Walked 15 minutes. (first walk in 3 weeks outside) I am going to have to ask my physical therapist more about my knee, because that short walk really bothered the left knee.

Went to Kroger grocery for organic meat and coconut milk yogurt. Forgot to grab cashews for my mom.

Worked a little bit on my taxes. I have two forms left to come in. Trump's new tax law sure didn't help me. Hurt me. I will owe.

Made spaghetti sauce.

Hi everyone! Thank you for the prayers! My Mom is still cancer free, thank God!

We drove through some pretty heavy fog this morning as we traveled to Atlanta. Surprisingly there wasn't to much traffic this morning. After the Super Bowl I thought it was going to be crazy up there but our trip went smoothly.

Did some grocery shopping afterwards at the ethnic market known as Hmart. Bought mainly fruits and veggies.

Had a fantastic lunch at a Japanese restaurant named Wagaya near the hospital. Had a terrific salad and 2 California sushi rolls.

Hiker-Kudos on the walk! How was the coconut yogurt? My Vitamix blender that I bought from Amazon came in today. I can't wait to give it a spin. I've checked out recipes for coconut yogurt and ice cream. I'm so excited!

TuTu-I watched only the second half of the Super Bowl last night. Some of those calls looked kinda iffy to me. Hated that interception!

Well.....time for me to veg and check out Vitamix recipes online.

Night all!

We always end up owing on our taxes, so this should be a fun year.

AK ... I know you will love the Vitamix. I almost bought one years ago when I had a health coach. She had one.

I doubt I can get much use out of it now.

I washed clothes today and even washed pillows. I also swiffered and vacuumed. Tonight I had to drive about 30 mi north to take a key to my friend. I had her extra in case something happened to her. (long story) It's for a storage unit for the support group. She lost hers today and HAD to have a key.

Did my PT exercises twice and walked outside 21 minutes. A lot colder than yesterday with a wind.

Got my hair cut this morning. I usually go every 4-5 weeks and this time it was almost 9 weeks.

My stylist is retiring this summer. Bummer. She only charges $18.

Ak--How does that new Vitamix work? Also, so glad to hear your mom is cancer free.

Errands today and took Mom to another Dr appointment.

Mom and I went to the Coca Cola Space Science Center for another night of music provided by local college students and animated artwork on the planetarium dome. 2 more concerts to go, one in March and the last one in April and we already bought our $5.00 tickets. They have cheeses, crackers, etc. and wine, water and soda before the concert.

Wonderful evening worth more than the measly $5.00 they charge. Gives folks a chance to experience something they might never have an opportunity to see otherwise.

TuTu-Hopefully one day you'll be able to break out your Vitamix again. I haven't tried mine yet and think I'll start with a simple smoothie.

Hiker-Kudos on the walk! Hope you can find another stylist. The one I used while I was married was pricey and I had to find another one locally and that I could afford. She charges only $16 and I give her a $2 tip. Good luck!

Anyways, another busy day tomorrow, so I'll see you all later!

You two are lucky! My hairdresser charged $20 a haircut for the past 10-12 years .. just went up less than two years ago. So now it's $23 .. plus the tip.

She does a good job and she also schedules my appointments away from anything chemical going on in her shop.

AK .. No Vitamix over here.

I went to exercise again today and WOOT WOOT: I did 16 min on the famous machine and 5 min on the NuStep .. 6 laps and a few other exercises. I feel pretty good, all things considered. I've been having a lot of pain. Today was better.

We are supposed to get some freezing rain or something tonight. It's been very warm, like high 60's and even 70 on Monday. So back down again.

Kayak .. Where are ya?

Way to go on the exercise, Lymetoo.

Went for a short walk and did my PT exercises.

My shoulder does not feel good at all. Going to see therapist tomorrow afternoon.

Ran a few errands.

Spent time calling plumbers and getting estimates on a new hot water heater. Getting it installed on Friday afternoon. Goodbye $$.

Then worked on getting my dad's McAfee security renewed. I won't get into all the details but for various reasons a very simple task became extremely difficult and time consuming. Would have been easier for me to drive the hour to take care of it at their place.

I have been sleeping 10 hours a night lately. Need to get up early tomorrow to get my exercises done, showered, fed, so I can leave for Bible study before 9. Am excited to get back to my study group.

Way to go on the exercises guys!

I'm going to be very busy for awhile because I'm trying to straighten and clean up the ex's place to sell. I went to my old real estate agent who sold us the place and he's going to try and help me.

The plan is to clean it up and put it on the market for at least what we owe to avoid a short sell.

My ex hasn't paid for 8 months and since I'm on the mortgage also he's ruining my credit.

Putting everything into God's hands and will do the best I can.

So going there to work on the property from 8-5 while he's at work.

Be praying for me.....

Hiker .. That computer stuff sounds very annoying. Sorry you are dealing with it.

Our Bible study will start up this week too. Our leader is having to work extra hours for someone who is extremely ill with the flu and pneumonia. She may not survive it.

So our study is postponed until our leader can get away. We are praying for Lynne.

AK .. I will pray for you also!! Be very careful!!

We are expecting possible tornadoes, followed by ice. Hopefully, we will miss out on both! I don't think the ice thing will be too bad.

My sinuses are driving me nuts. Not sure what has them stirred up.

Tutu--What is your Bible group studying? We are still in Ezekiel.

Went to physical therapy after Bible study. Therapist was surprised my shoulder hurt so much because my range of motion is so much better.

He added on some more exercises--mainly stretching as I am so tight. Added a band for a knee exercise to increase difficulty.

No walk today. Rainy and very windy. Temperature is dropping over 40 degrees today. Such a wacky winter.

Short and sweet....way overdid it and not feeling so hot. Funny smell in the trailer and worked on large front and back porch which had a few years of pollen build up.

I'm medicated and going to bed. It's gonna be rough.

Oh, I didn't have to see my ex. I'm there while he's at work.

Hiker .. We are beginning Mark. We are going through all of the Gospels. Each book is about 7-8 weeks. We took a break over Christmas.

AK .. That sounds like really hard work. Pace yourself.

[group hug]

OH .. I Have a cold or sinus infection. Maybe flu, but if so, it's not even half as bad as last year.
I had chills and a temp of 101 last night.

Feel better this morning. Would love to go back to bed, but my back hurts.

Ak and Tutu--sounds like you both need rest and I hope you both feel better soon.

AK--how often will you go work on the trailer?

Did my Pt exercises for shoulder, elbow and knee. Hope no more body parts get added to the regimen.

Went grocery shopping.

Had a new water heater installed.

Relaxing tonight.

Did my PT exercises twice.

Was able to walk outside for 20 minutes. Sunny, no wind, but cold. Felt good, though.

Did a bit of cleaning and cooking.

Am heading to the couch to read and watch Illini basketball.

Got the recent Robert Redford movie from the library called The Old Man and the Gun. May watch it tonight.

Good job, hiker!

I was lazy all day .. finally went out to the store since we are expecting ice late tonight and into Sunday. I hate when it does that on Sunday!!

So .. Now I'm ready to relax and put my feet up again.

My cold is better, just dealing with congestion and a cough.

No work today on trailer had a luncheon and then vegged at Josh's.

Tomorrow going to work at trailer with the ex. It's going to be hard work loading the truck and taking things to the dump. Hauling limbs and maybe raking and bagging.

I just dread it!

Real estate agent called me Friday and said the more I can get done the better to sell the property.

Course, I am just one person doing most of the work.

Still have scraping, sanding and painting just to name a few things.

God give me strength!
