Here's to the start of another week of movement!

The wind is sure moving here today. Several large pine branches down in my yard from the next door church.

I did my Pt stretching today for the shoulder but skipped some of the other exercises. Too much pain.

After I talk to my mom this afternoon I will settle down to read.

AK--First Man was an okay movie. Thought it was more somber than celebratory about getting to the moon and depicted Neil Armstrong as angry or unemotional. Glad I only paid $1 to rent it.

Have a great week! [Cool]

Sorry that your shoulder is still giving you fits, hiker.

The movie sounds lackluster. Why do they bother making things like that?

It was windy here last night too .. not too bad.

It's beautiful and sunny today.

I'm off for a nap. I was so exhausted yesterday and slept quite a bit after choir rehearsal. I had stayed out late Friday.

A friend asked me to sit with her on the front row for a show here. She has reserved seats there. I went to the regular show at 7:30 and then the one that is taped for a TV broadcast at 10:30 pm.... So it was LATE!!

My masto friend came too, but she had to sit farther back. We had fun though. It's a great show.

I hope everyone else is doing OK ... LP, AK, manname, etc.

We're doing okay......except sonny is dealing with a lyme/bart flare and not so happy. Gut issues. I posted in medical asking for food ideas.

Hubby is using cbd oil and is able to cut back on his antianxiety med without the really bad withdrawal effects.

Starting to get breezy here. The wind is supposed to get up to 25 - 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph this afternoon.

Yesterday I bought fabric for a back on the jeans quilt I made for my son. He's eagerly waiting for it. It won't take long to do it since we'll be knotting it as a comfort.

We have my daughter's quilt in the frame right now. She had her friends and their mom's here last night to quilt it. It was a learning experience for the girls as we moms taught them how to quilt.

None of us moms are experts at it like some of our mom's or grandma's were. Some of them did quilting to sell. We all agreed we won't be doing that. The girls all did a really good job and I was surprised how much they got done in one evening.

Ran a couple of errands with my Mom trying not to overdo. Watching the Oscars with my leg elevated.

Thanks for getting us started this week Hiker and for the heads up about First Man.

Glad you enjoyed yourself TuTu!

Your quilting project sounds awesome Manna! Happy your hubs is getting some relief.

See everyone tomorrow!

Manna--Would love to see the quilts. My grandmother made me a quilt when I was born that has the pictures of characters from Little Women. I treasure that and a star quilt she made.

Did shoulder stretches and knee exercises.

Ran errands and gassed up the car.

Saw chiropractor. She told me to ice my hurting elbow--that it was very inflamed and said to keep icing my shoulder.

Pt keeps wanting to put heat on the shoulder.

Glad I am see orthopedist tomorrow. Although He will want to do surgery if the rotator cuff is torn and I am not ready for that.

Would like to back off on PT due to elbow and deltoid pain. I know I need to strengthen deltoid and other muscles, but can't tolerate pain right now. Grr.

Ak--Hope your workman shows up tomorrow.

LP--Hope you didn't blow away in the high winds!

Ran too many necessary errands today and the hematoma I have on my left lower leg caused swelling and pain. So I'm home with my leg elevated and wrapped in my new hearing pad.

Talked with a lawyer today about the accident and he said Alabama has an old weird law about a driver not being liable for passenger injury. He's going to research for loopholes and we'll probably meet Friday.

Through all this pain I still have to try and do some trim painting tomorrow and cleaning of the trailer. Also I have to take pictures and text them to the real estate agent. Should be listed by tomorrow.

Hiker is the elbow that's bothering you on the same arm as your bad shoulder? I blew out my elbow on the same arm as my bad shoulder cutting a fig tree with a hand saw.

Please be careful if it is! Since my shoulder wasn't working correctly it put to much stress on my elbow. Ended up having surgery on my elbow too.

I'd back off the therapy too. Shouldn't be causing much pain. My PT pushed me with my elbow rehab and I switched to a more experienced one.

Well, off to rest. See you guys tomorrow!

Ak-Elbow is on my right side same as my shoulder. Have exercises from when I had tendonitis in elbow on left side. Just icing and massaging now.

You be careful and don't overdo!

AK .. That's awful. I hope your lawyer can find another more appropriate loophole for YOU.

Hiker ..Sure hope the rotator is not torn.

I didn't get much done today, though I did make a run to do some errands. Just a lazy day overall.

Tomorrow I hope to go to exercise.

Nite!

Went to orthopedist. Agreed to MRI since they don't do shoulder ultrasounds in my town.

MRI is tomorrow afternoon. I hate them, so say a prayer it doesn't cause vertigo or myoclonus.

Felt rushed by MD today and didn't get through all my questions. Was still asking them as he walked out door. GRR.

Did my shoulder stretches and my knee exercises. I will not go back to PT until next week and decide what to do from there.

Am going to see a chiropractor tomorrow for free consult on K-laser. May give it a try now that my elbow is hurting, too.

Went to library and made blueberry muffins.

On no, I way overdid it even taking a couple of breaks to elevate and apply heat to my leg.

I did finish the trim painting today. Not to my usual high standards but the best I could do under the circumstances.

Oh, yard guy and handyman showed up around the same time this morning. Yard guy only charged $65 and handy man charged an extra $25. So for labor today the total was $190.

TuTu the lawyer found a loophole! I still haven't been seen for my neck and back yet and he recommended a few docs. One is a neurologist that Josh saw for his ruptured disc so I'll probably see him. Hope I'm ok.

Glad you're not doing pt for the elbow Hiker! I have to be sedated for an MRI. I found out the hard way that I have claustrophobia. One time I freaked out during a shoulder MRI and I clawed my way out. I was so embarrassed!

Well.....hoping to relax. I have muscle spasms in my neck, back and legs and don't like the meds they gave me. I'm taking my old RX because the new one makes me way to dizzy even cut in half!

Hope to see you all tomorrow!

[hi]

I see eye doc tomorrow and pt next day

I can’t get housework caught up. I just can’t do it and can’t find anyone to help

I’m sorry everyone is having such a hard d time. Hope it turns around soon

Ak--Try not to do too much work if you are going to bring a suit against driver of car. He may say you aren't hurt badly enough.

Hope you get into a doctor soon.

LP--Hope you can find someone to help you.

Deb took me to my MRI. It was an open MRI, so a lot easier than a closed one. I had to beg the guy for ear plugs. He didn't think I would need them. Put a towel over my eyes.

I barely made it through as the position my shoulder was in and the contraption they dumped on top of it was so painful.

Realized how tired I am as Deb brought me home.

I did get up early and go talk to a chiropractor about using a K-laser for shoulder and elbow. Pretty expensive, but I might give it a try.

Need to go several times a week and can't go when I have energy healings, so may not get started for several weeks.

This chiropractor's wife has Lyme Disease and antibiotics haven't worked. So common.

Going to sit on the couch and veg.

AK .. Hiker has a good point about not doing too much. Gotta hope he is not taking pics of you working.

Hiker .. great job on getting the MRI! I thought about telling you to take a pair of ear protectors but knew that might be too expensive for a one time deal.

I have felt yucky all day. (My stomach was giving me issues .. probably MCAS) I called in sick to Bible study and another gal couldn't make it, so it was canceled. There are only 4 of us plus the leader.

So I got out to grab a few things since we will have snow or ice tonight. Then came home and went to bed.

Got up to wash dishes from last night (brought home food today for supper) and now I'm just zoned out.

LP . . I hope today was better for you.

Am bummed out. I do have a tear in the rotator cuff.

Nurse called and said doctor wants to see me as soon as possible (That means Tuesday since he is booked).

Tear is 1.1 cm which is just above the classification of small. I am hoping to heal up my elbow and get back into PT, so I can avoid surgery.

The tear is in the tendon that connects the clavicle to the humerus bone, so raising my arm hurts a lot.

Went to Bible study this morning and picked up the wine my dad wants. Need to finish grocery shopping for my parents tomorrow and go home Saturday.

Overdid it again yesterday but today got news that someone wants to purchase property. Small issue with our mortgage company, just waiting for new payoff amount and hope everything will work out.

Went to clinic GP and was told whiplash and hematoma on leg and to take it easy. More muscle relaxers and being sent to PT.

Bad news about shoulder Hiker. Hope they can heal it through PT. Have a good time at your folks!

Feel better soon TuTu! Hope I haven't messed things up by working while injured. Was in between a rock and a hard place.

Going to try and rest. Night all!

Hiker .. That is a big bummer. Maybe your PT will now be more careful. Will pray for a good outcome.

AK .. Maybe he wasn't smart enough to take pics. Do plenty of complaining to your doctors.

I feel a little better .. still in a funk of sorts. The weather isn't helping. One last push from old man winter this week (into next) and then maybe we are home free??

I even got mixed up on which day it is. I sometimes get a day ahead of myself!!

Tomorrow I hope to pick out new glasses. Mine are too heavy and have been gouging into my nose for two years. I get a big discount on them every two years from my vision care plan.

MAYBE I will get them in by the end of next week.

Hope LP is doing better.

Tutu--Hope you are feeling better by now. Would love to see your new glasses.

Ak--Praying you get the sale!

LP--How are you?

I went to two grocery stores today.

Then went and tried the K-laser treatment on my shoulder and elbow. I'll let you know how it feels as time goes on.

Filled up the birdfeeders.

Am really wiped out. Haven't been sleeping with sore shoulder.

Going to get snow this weekend and then below zero temps again. March is coming in like a lion.

I'm doing better, hiker. Thanks. Felt pretty decent today. We just got through with choir rehearsal and had lunch.

My masto friend may come down to show me her new car. She had to buy one this morning because hers CAUGHT FIRE yesterday!!

and PS .. She may get married soon. She has found a great guy and they are madly in love.

Hiker .. I hope the laser treatments help. I had some laser on mine, but I don't think it was K-laser. It was called cold laser.

We are expecting 3-6 inches of snow that will begin about 3 a.m. I don't think we'll be having church!

Tutu--We may get 3 inches of snow and blowing cold wind. 6 inches is a lot for you.

What kind of car caught fire? Scary.

Did my PT stretches and knee exercises. Drove over to my parents. Took me forever to unload all the groceries/supplies I have been buying the past month.

Ordered some things for them online.

The k-laser is a warm laser. It felt so good yesterday and I slept pretty well.

Am stiff and sore again today, but am hoping with continued treatments I get better. Need to get elbow fixed so I can strengthen shoulder.

Hi guys! I've been resting all day and actually slept really well for the first time since the accident.

TuTu-I'd like to see your new glasses too. Always fun to get new ones. That's so wonderful for your Masto friend! Glad you're feeling better.

Hiker-I'll have to Google that k-laser. Sure hope you enjoy the time with your folks!

Thank you guys for all the prayers!

See you all tomorrow!
