I woke up to see several inches of unexpected snow coating everything! I took some photos.
Usually, Sunday has no surprises. I like my Sunday-only breakfast of waffles with blueberries ( frozen ones are great!) maple syrup, a clementine and some coffee.
I love getting two Sunday papers - which I recycle, of course. I have a competition with a daughter who lives far away as to who can complete the NYTimes crossword first.
I feed the birds and do a lot of bird and squirrel-watching, and I usually get a nice long walk when the weather allows.
Reading a good book and taking a nap finishes my Sunday luxuries.

On Sundays my nephew comes over to have dinner with me and my mother. I always try to whip up something special.
We always have a wonderful time and I treasure each moment.

We had snow last year on this day. This year it was cold, but OK!

- Masterpiece (Theater) on PBS . . . and similar quality programs that precede, too. "This Old House" is a must see, too, when their series are running.
Although I can stream it anytime on my TV, I still like to sit down and watch it on Sunday evenings when I think lots of other folks are all settled in watching alongside, so to speak. -
