As you know, Infectious disease doctors are responsible for countless Lyme patients not being diagnosed or treated in the early stages of Lyme and tick borne diseases, or at all in some cases.

They also provide shameful documentation for insurers.

I actually believe infectious disease doctors (and neurologists) along with the insurance industry have been more of a problem for patients than the ticks.

For example, at the end of the article below are recommendations from the Committee for Infectious Diseases and Vaccinations of the German Academy for Pediatrics and Adolescent Health.

Really, there are four recommendations and they are a MUST read.

It was posted in tNational Center for Biotechnology Information, U.S. National Library of Medicine (NCBI) which is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH)

That said, I agree it is atrocious advice for dealing with any disease!
