Fecal transplant in Feb. successful in preventing c. diff. recurrence, but had no effect on my food allergies or headaches.

Pain impossible, things spinning out of control. Can't find food to eat that doesn't make me sicker than I'm willing to be. Allergy clearings becoming less and less successful. The rubber-banded together protocol that has kept me here for years is no longer successful, and I don't know why.

I'm just letting the world know that I'm failing, and don't need trite cliches, religious or otherwise, about not giving up. Or advice, for that matter. What I need is pain relief, and I need it now. As someone who is allergic to opioids, hemp, serrapeptase, etc., etc. pain relief is a much a pipe dream as regaining my life.

Sorry you're feeling bad - what kind of pain are you experiencing?

Also, can you drink bone broth and green juices? These are things many can handle when digestion is challenging. And are there any foods that work for you?

Nerve pain between my eyes, in my trigeminal nerve and/or sinuses.

Pain in that area is my universal symptom for anything off balance -- digestive and immune issues, sleep deprivation, toxicity, allergies, infections, anything.

The pain keeps me from being able to function during the day, interrupts my sleep at night, and screws over my emotions.

PAIN is the worst!
I feel so sorry for you.

Can you take alka selzer for headache and pain?
I place two fingers on my eye lids to calm down the nerves, over a warm wash cloth.

Maybe try OTC lidocaine creme to numb skin. It works for me although only an hour or two.

Can you get to a pain management doctor?
Do you have a LLMD?

PAIN sucks all your energy. It makes life not worth living.
I totally get it.
I hope you find a way to get a much needed break.

Does anyone have any ideas for GVS?

Do you have a helpful ENT?? Have you been to an allergist/immunologist? I'm sorry if none of that is what you want to hear. I'm just trying to help.

Has this been considered?

Infections can GREATLY affect this illness and vice versa.

After getting through an allergy test next week, I hope to spend a month slowly building up on fulvic acid (detox).

Fulvic is a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. The question is, will I become allergic to it before it brings my system up.

I was origally concerned about heartburn because of the "acid" component of fulvic, but people from the wujisan company explained it like this:

There is a difference between something like coffee, ginger, cayenne pepper, apple cider vinegar or lemon juice as caustic/burning acids vs fulvic acid which is an organic acid, found in all foods, which is not a caustic substance because charges are neutralized in the water in which it is made.

Another way to explain this is that orange juice is often difficult for people with hiatal hernia, but usually prunes, grapes, honey, olives, and cucumbers are well tolerated. All of these foods have the same ph as our WuJinSan product.

Wish I had paid attention to that email when the customer service rep first sent it a year ago. Maybe I'd be able to find food to eat now. Lyme brain.

Ok - here is an idea for an experiment that I don't think you'll react to in a bad way.

I watched someone at a Whole Life Expo get stuffy in his sinuses, tape two little round magnets to his forehead, one just above each eyebrow, and his sinuses cleared up in 10 minutes.

Ever since, I have read about magnets as well as played with some myself. I got little tiny magnets, larger magnets for clipping to my clothes, a brink magnet that I used to lie on for my neck, and then there's the PEMF machines that put out magnetic pulses.

The PEMF machine where I held a coil took my nerve pain down to zero. It also took my tinnitus in my ears to zero for 6 hours afterward. A Lyme doctor said it probably quieted the nerves to the ears.

So, I think this could be worth the attempt to see whether it can take down your nerve pain.

Please message me if you're interested in a stronger magnet possibility I'm aware of.

GVS You said "our WuJinSan product".

Are you selling something?

Ann,

My use of the word "our" was a product of sloppy thinking. I have no financial connection to wujinsan or any other company selling supplements.

I do have some gullibility when reading overblown advertising that promises to get rid of problems I'm struggling with, especially when I know people who have benefitted from that product.

Robin,

Tried magnets. Extensively. Didn't help.
Thanks for the suggestion, anyway.

Lymetoo,

Your suggestion about infections is right on the money. The relationship between my pain level and my infection level is strong. I can track my infection levels by doing kinesiology testing on myself.

Unfortunately, knowing what's going on isn't the same as being able to change what's going on.

Bartenderbonnie,

I've seen a pain doctor for 15 years, and am as allergic to the pain meds he prescribes for me as I am to all the foods I can't eat.

Just curious whether you've tried taking turmeric - in powder form, it takes down inflammational pain for me.

Am taking curcumim, but don't seem to be absorbing it well, despite the phosphatidylcholine it's bound with.

GVS,
Sorry I didn't notice this topic sooner because there is a prepared hypoallergenic food item which you can buy via the internet. It can be a true lifesaver for anyone who cannot tolerate any ordinary foods taken orally at all, especially Crohn's and/or severe colitis patients.

I have a close friend who lived on this liquid diet for over six months -- taking no other source of food at all for six months! She is totally and completely well now, and she has remained well for several years.

This product is often used by cancer patients who cannot eat any solid foods at all while undergoing chemotherapy. Likewise, celiac patients who are experiencing a severe flare-up like to keep a canister of this product on the shelf at all times for emergency use.

You can order a free sample first to see if you can tolerate it. That's what I'd do if I were in a similar situation as you have been.

TX Lyme Mom,

I ordered a sample to see if I can tolerate it.
The stuff looks good, but is pricey. Did your friend say if she found any ways, discounts or otherwise, to make it more affordable?
