Are you ready for another week of movement?

Maybe it’s beach walking; maybe it’s cleaning the house; maybe it’s gardening; or maybe it’s walking the aisles of the grocery store.

Whatever it may be, tell us about it.

I got up fairly early today and did my physical therapy exercises this morning and again this afternoon.

I managed to get down the stairs four times to the basement to do laundry.

Went to open house. Lovely condo but could barely get up porch steps as it had no railing. Had a basement and stairs turn so a stair lift not practical. Would need railing for stair or ramp to get into garage. Loved the sunroom, though.

A friend and colleague of mine passed away and I’m very sad about it. Sharon was always such an encouragement. She had 10 kids, eight of whom were adopted and some are still in junior high and high school. Asking for prayers for her family.

After I do my weekly call to my mom I will probably just relax this afternoon.

Have a great week! [hi]

Will definitely pray for you and the beautiful family, Hiker. So sad!!!

Like you said, at least the condo shopping will give you great ideas!

It is still raining here. Actually it is not raining this very moment but came down really hard this morning....more to come. Sigh.

My brother and his wife from Houston will be here Monday night until Thursday morning....so If I disappear, we are busy! [Smile]

Have a good week, everyone!

(AK .. you are right about the fact that you can't clean a place in one hour!! I hope I can find someone good)

Thanks Hiker for getting us started this week!

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your friend. Sounds like she was a wonderful person.

TuTu I hope you enjoy time with your family! Also good luck with finding a more diligent housekeeper. I cleaned house for a couple years before moving to AK. Then while up there did some evening commercial cleaning to save for a couple college classes.

Just did PT stuff today, made dinner and dinked around with my friend's car again. Topped off her coolant and windshield fluids and repaired a loose coolant line by just attaching it to it's clip. She said it was rattling and that was the culprit. Thank God it was an easy fix.

See everyone tomorrow!

Did my pt exercises.

Went to chiropractor and got soaked from rain storm getting to car.

Ac guy came to service air conditioner.

Met with another realtor and I think I will go with her. She seemed very practical and has 26 years of experience.

Now I have to tell the other realtor--who is very nice--that I am not going to use her. I hate doing that kind of thing.

Have a good evening.

Did my PT and arm workout at home. Made it to the gym for my usual routine of 30 minutes on the treadmill and just 10 in the sauna.

Afterwards went shopping with Josh and picked up a fan for my room. Then ran errands with Mom. So a busy day for me.

Hiker I'm glad that you found a realtor that you're comfortable with. How's the shoulder?

Well, off to bed!

Tutu— I hope you are enjoying your brother’s visit.

AK—Way to stick with the exercise, girl!

My shoulder pain has ramped up again. Part of that may be due to the energy healing Saturday that killed some lime and released toxins

And part may just be because I’m doing new harder exercises.

I still don’t have a lot of strength in the shoulder but the mobility is so much better.

I did my exercises at home this morning and then went to physical therapy this afternoon.

Stopped at the library and about got blown across the parking lot with 30 mph winds, but did pick up a book.

Off to relax and read. My days are pretty boring and seem to be pretty repetitive but that’s OK.

Hi everyone! Did just PT at home. Packed for my mini vacay to ATL. Leaving tomorrow and will be back Sunday. My friend's BDay is Saturday and we plan on doing some shopping and celebrating. Josh is covering for me and will keep an eye on my Mom.

Hiker I'm so glad your healing so well! I need to download a book to my kindle so I'll have something to read while I'm in ATL. Helps me to unwind.

I bet TuTu is having a great time with her family! Visiting should count as exercise!

Well, off to turn on sprinklers! Night all!

Ak--Enjoy Atlanta with your friend.

Tutu-hope you are having a blast with your brother.

Did my pt exercises and then went to pt this afternoon.

Went to functional chiropractor. He thinks I have a virus and noted my left knee was swollen. He didn't see evidence of Lyme but said it seems like I am peeling back the onion.

Energy healer felt she was killing Lyme. I just want the germs eradicated as they give me the Lyme symptoms.

Anyway functional chiropractor is having me take sesame seed oil capsules twice a day.

BFF coming over tonight to watch Democratic debate. We differ a lot on politics but love to watch this kind of stuff and discuss it.

Did my physical therapy exercises this morning.

Went to Bible study.

Went grocery shopping this afternoon and because I didn’t buy a lot I was able to get the groceries in without help.

I am meeting with the realtor and a builder tomorrow at a condo area, so I spent a lot of time reading through the covenants and regulations of the area and writing a list of questions. Not convinced I want to build or build in this particular area but I’m not shutting down options.

Pulled 2 wheelbarrow loads of weeds from my flowerbed this evening. The weeds have gone wild!

Need to get the weeds pulled in the garden so the vegetables can grow. I went to get an onion for supper and couldn't find them at first! :-(

I did my physical therapy exercises at home and then went to physical therapy.

Met with my realtor and a builder at the edge of town to take a look at a lot to build a one level place. I’m not sold on the location near the highway and the train tracks.

Because there aren’t any mature trees and I live in flap Prairieland the wind really howls. Might not be fun in winter to be one of the furthest houses away from a Main Street if we get as much snow and cold as this winter.

It may sound odd but with such wind out there I don’t think I could walk very easily. I practically got blown over standing there talking to the builder and I was leaning on my walking stick.

I’m just getting started in this process, so putting that decision on hold.

I’m going to take the rest of the day just to relax, read and watch some TV.

Manna .. we are getting tons of rain here. Maybe you are as well?

Had fun with my brother and his wife. We went to a show on Tuesday and then out to eat at the place where hubby has played. He will play again this Saturday.

Wednesday we just vegged out. We are too old for this tourist stuff. LOL .. We watched the College World Series and were happy that Vanderbilt beat Michigan.

Then my SIL and I went to nearby Chili's and got salads to bring home. It was a nice day.

They left yesterday morning and drove all day (13 hours) to Texas. They had to pick up their dog at her son's house, so it took longer than our trips take when we go home.

I'm still tired, but OK! There are lingering fragrances here, but I will be OK. It's mostly their scented laundry soap I smell ..just from their clothes. ARRRGGH

Only once did I get a little scared. The last night my SIL put something on that gave me asthma. I just stayed away until it dissipated. UGH.

I bought an air purifier today .. maybe that will help too.

Our high humidity is still driving me nuts. It's OK in the condo, but still doesn't smell right.

I just bought tickets to see Vince Gill!! He will be here in October and he has been on my bucket list for a LONG time. (like 30 years!)

Hiker .. I hope you find the perfect place that is perfect for your pocketbook too!

AK .. Then you REALLY know how to clean!! I need you! [Smile]

Tutu--Glad you enjoyed your brother's (and SIL) visit. How do you like your new air purifier?

Tutu--I know you had work done in the condo from the water leak and you discovered issues near water heater. Would that be what you are smelling? Can't remember if there was mold there or not.

Manna--I understand about the amount of weeds. I was out today surveying the weeds and some of the thistles are really high.

Right now it is too dry to pull them out and I am trying to save my better shoulder, so may hire Riley again to weed, trim bushes etc. The surgical shoulder is definitely not ready for weeding or bush trimming.

Did my Pt exercises.

Pulled the buds off the chrysanthemums so they bloom in the fall and not next week.

Only spent about 30 minutes outside and started to get overheated. 90 but humid here.

Took a short cat nap.

Am still dealing with sinus/lung infection. Energy healer and functional chiropractor say it is a virus (and some allergens--mold spores and grass pollen are high now).

We had sunshine this morning. I did laundry and hung it out until I needed to go along to look at a new for us vehicle.

By the time everything was taken care of and we were on the way home, the west was darkening and a storm came through. It started raining just before we got home.

I called home when I saw how dark it was and my daughter got the dry wash off the line.

After the storm passed the sun came back out, so I filled the lines again. It didn't all manage to dry before a second storm came through. Put the last load in the dryer and finished up the damp stuff in the dryer.

The weeds should be easy to pull with more rain. My back and hip like to complain after pulling weeds too long.

The peas are done producing, so its time to get the ground ready for a second crop - sweet corn & sweet potatoes. I got 150 sweet potato plants yesterday.
