1. Head pressure 2. Tinnitus and auditory distortions (my own voice and sounds get muffled or amplified) 3. Weird tingling, burning and sizzling sensations in my ears and head.

I forgot to say weird, too. Obviously our collective 4th symptom.
Here's my best weird story - wearing a coat, I got into a car, seating myself in the front passenger seat, and I forgot that I had a round magnet on my coat collar to help reduce neck pain. Sounds reasonable, right? We reduce pain.
Well, the next thing I knew, my coat collar instantly flew to the top of the car roof because it was metal and that's what magnets like to do, is connect instantly with metals, last time I checked with them.
You all should have seen the look on the woman driver's face as she's looking at me with my coat stuck to the top of the car! No, maybe you shouldn't have seen it, because it was the closest look I ever received akin to "ET, go home!"
And I forgot I had the magnet on me, so I looked equally astonished at first!

Muscle Twitching. Heart issues. hip and shoulder myasthenia, much worse on left side. I can sit in a chair for about ten minutes, then I have to lie down. Pepperoni. Sausage.

HW- HA! I was writing a quick grocery list today and forgot the name of the bread I wanted to get. Remembered it was here on another post.
Found it and started to write it down next to where I'd written "bread" on my list.
Turns out I wrote on my list prior to knowing the real name, and for lack of a better name- "weird bread". Then I read your response.
So I guess "weird" it is. This whole mess! It's all weird. We are all weird!

Thank God for you 'alls sense of humor.
It upsets me so much that the CDC and the medical community continues to dismiss OUR life threatening and debilitating infections. It makes me cry. . .
Oh yeah, add that to my list - crying jags.

Bartenderbonnie - you can try this out for some fun some day if you want - get some Lyme brochures - I think www.lymediseaseassociation.org still has them -
Then when you go to see a ducktor, have a few under a coat you're holding - I had 10 different Lyme brochures I was holding -
Then when the ducktor says there's no Lyme in fillintheblank or not much, make sure they're holding all those brochures within a few seconds of saying so.
Then when the ducktor leaves the room, saying the appt is over, then go out and educate the staff, who can't walk out.
As in: you, your family, your pets, your friends, your acquaintances and everyone else could get this and you all need to know how to prevent getting it. And make it a real teaching experience.
Beats sulking around! Especially to see the look on the ducktor's face when they realize you've just done an intervention...

Here's a story I received in a recent email - an elderly couple decided they wanted some dessert. They discussed getting some strawberry shortcake. As the husband was going out to get it, his wife said don't let them forget to put whipping cream on it.
He comes back awhile later with food, and she takes one look at the eggs and potatoes and says: "They forgot the toast!"

I have another good one.
A support group for elderly folks meets once a month to chat, play games, and have a good time. During one of the meetings one gentleman was describing the experience he and his wife had at a new restaurant in town. The gentleman he was telling this to thought he would like to visit this new place too so he asked what the place was called.
The first gentleman thought for a while but couldn't remember the name. After trying to remember a while longer, he asks the fellow "what's the name of the pretty flower with a long stem that men give to their wives to show them how much they love them?"
The second gentleman replied, "You mean a rose?"
The first gentleman then turns to the chair on the other side of him and says, "Rose, what's the name of that nice new restaurant we ate at last week?"
