i'm in fort worth and temp has been 100 and over every day this week. several days already at 102.

i start sweating within minutes of going outside and my face gets beet red. i mean i am dripping and look like a lobster.

i don't feel too good so i stay pretty much inside because of the heat.

so question is, the the sweating good for you to release toxins or bad because it's such high heat?

I do not do well in high heat, and it is because my autonomic nervous system is overworked from my illness. Since my body is always in a mode of being stresed, it can't handle the heat. I get very weak in the heat.

Nobody should spend too much time outside in 102 weather though. Keep yourself hydrated and dress cool.

I don't handle either extremes of heat or cold well.

I have problems with heat herxing. Galveston in July nearly killed me a couple of years ago. The heat makes me dizzy and woozy and nauseated and tired.

Whether it's good or bad is up in the air. I didn't notice overall improvement in my health from being hot, but on the other hand it didn't seem to make things worse in the long run. Just take it easy and don't push yourself to go outside when it's that hot. That's the key to surviving lyme: don't push yourself too hard.
