If it does boost my counts, will they go back down if I stop taking it? It is really $$$ for a one month supply so I am wondering if I will have to be on it for life, to keep my immune system functioning.

I took Trasfer Factor LymPlus and Multi-Immune for one month to try to boost my very low WBC count (2.2)
It did not increase the count, but it did stir up a bunch of stuff in my body- sore throat, felt more achey, mucousy, a small amount of pus came out of my picc insertion site.
Overtime, my WBC has come up- I can't really say "on its own" bc I am on a lot of meds/supp. but I am not taking anything specific for WBC now like Transfer Factor, and last week it was up to 3.4 and week before it was normal at 4.5. That was the first time it was normal in a year.
I do take a product called EpiCor that is supposed to help balance the immune system and is pretty inexpensive. I was on it before too when WBC was very low, but I stay on it for a little extra support, if its doing anything.

In my case, I had been on antibiotics continuously for 3 years when my WBC count went low. Lyme doc explained that the body senses the antibiotics and, after a time, can decide that it doesn't need to make WBC much anymore because the antibiotics are there doing the job.
So, that is why he had me take the Transfer Factor. In my case, it worked quickly and 2 weeks later my WBC count was normal. I then stopped the TF.
However, some time later, my WBC count again was low, so I went back on the TF. It went back up again as before and I stopped the TF. When it went down the 3rd time, my lyme doc told me to just stay on the TF until the end of my treatment. That was just a few more months, then I was finished.
So, my guess is that if your body is deciding it doesn't have to make WBCs because the antibiotics are there to take their place, you may notice a drop in WBCs each time you go off the TF. If that occurs, you may have to stay on the TF as long as you are on the meds.
You are just going to have to play it by ear and see how your WBC count does when you stop the TF.

Then, hopefully, once you take it for about a month, you will be fine.
You definitely don't have to be on it for life.
I would take it for the 1 month and see what happens.

AHCC is a mushroom extract that will increase the level of white blood cells, and is used extensively in Japan.
It has very low molecular weight, making it highly absorbable by the body.
Human clinical studies have shown that AHCC significantly improves immune response, increases and maintains NK (natural killer) cell activity, and enhances macrophage and T-Cell activity (white blood cells.)
Yes, it's expensive, as it is costly to produce and manufactured by only one company.
This is something worth investigating if your white cells are low.

Lyme hijacks macrophages in certain strains of chronic Lyme.
Ehrlichiosis infects white blood cells as well.
Not many know that Lyme can party in white blood cells as well.

I'm on LymPlus for 18 months because of EBV. Apparently it teaches the body to become immune to EBV and has factors for lyme.

Here is what Burrascano says under the heading of "For Immune Support":

You could read on line to find out if they boost NK cells. I don't know. Also, Burrascano gives the brand. Look on line to see how much per day it says to take once you get to their website.

Transfer factors never did anything to me after 6 months on it. Finally I quit that.
Now taking cordiolous versicolor instead, anti-virals, mino. My white count is usually in the 2's and has stayed there for years.
