I catch every cold that comes in a 5 miles radius. My functional NK cells are below the lower end point.

If a little piece of cooked food go up my nose while breathing and eating at the same time, a strong immune reaction follows.

So my immune function is both overactive and inefficient. I'm under the impression that most lymies do not have such a weak immune system. My LLMD doesnt really care. What other specialist should I see for that, an hematologist, or immunologist?

Sorry to hear you are feeling badly more often than not.

A weak immune system is fairly common with Lyme patients who have been sick a while. Once you improve with Lyme treatment your counts should improve.

You may want to avoid places and things that could expose you to viruses and germs. Wash hands often and stay away from sick folks.

I have troubles with the pharmacy. Seems there are a lot of sick folks in and out of them... a big bucket of germs.
