I live with my mom and she cant where sunscreen. I have reacted (bad and fast...less than 1 minute) to fragrance free suncreen.

Is there a sunscreen made for severe mcs people . without fragrance, chemicals OR essential oils (i can react badly to these too)

I feel so bad she has had to miss picnics with friends due to my mcs. Its just not safe to spend the day at the boardwalk or at a friends pool or anything without sunscreen. she has had to sacrifice so much to have me live with her (because of my mcs, sound sensitivity, constant head ache etc) and for her to take care of me. (i have next to no function left.) If I could find a way to so she could have some of the summer fun it would make me happy.
.
thank you

interested in this answer too, also how about face/body lotion that's non-toxic/fragrance free?

body lotion as in mosterizer? i used to use coconut oil (i used organic) it even helped the calluses on my feet.

it does have a smell though. my sense of smell is hypersensitive to so i do not know how strong it would smell to normal noses.

We usually do NOT use sun screen... but rather wear protective clothing. However, if we know we'll be out all day long and risk getting too much sun then we use this local brand.

I believe Whole Foods and Henry's supermarket also carry them.

It's thicker and does take more work to rub it in but we like it a lot. Not cheap though!

my llmd recommends Rocky Mtn. suncreen, online.
I don't know if it will irritate mcs or not, but it seems to work pretty well. I got it when I started doxy and was so sensitive to the sun.
Hope this helps. Maybe you could just look it up online and call them or something.?

Dr. Mercola has a new line of sunscreen with zinc oxide. You could call and get the exact other ingredients and see if they might be safe for you both.

Best,
LAXlover
