Hi all ... me again...

I have looked , but cannot find the info on when to suspect a

possible HLA genome issue... I know about the testing ... but are

there any symptoms or self help treatments one can look for and

apply ?

Big hug to anyone who can share [kiss]

Is the test a simple blood test ? I read it wasn't expensive...I have

a Labcorp nearby I could go to if I can get a script for the test...

How does "knowing "( meaning testing positive for the HLA

genotype) change lyme treatment ? Is there a specific treatment

tailored to those with this genotype ? Are there meds etc that one

must avoid or must take ?

I had researched this - want to ask to be tested.

Also trying to understand this. I'm reading about mold. Have you been tested for TGF beta-1, MSH, C3, C4? Possibly other tests. Our dr. ran these tests and I haven't understood the significance until reading this book. Only on chapter 3 - lots to learn.

I gave the 15-6-51 genotype. This is associated with Lyme disease. If you goggle "15-6-51 and Lyme" a lot of information comes up.

I take cholestyrimine to help with binding the toxins. I think the main concern if you have this genotype is difficulty with detoxing so binders are absolutely necessary.

If you have this genotype it doesn't mean you can't get well. But you may need to do additional therapies to get well.
