Has anyone had a blood clot due to Lyme Disease or possibly from neurotoxins? I had a blood clot 6 months ago and I think my blood got thick from too many toxins.

I am pretty sure that I am over lyme for the most part, but many toxins are left behind that cause me to have stiffness in all my joints. I feel much better as far as the other symptoms of LD. My Lyme doc thinks I have toxins left behind causing these symptoms.

I am on coumadin to thin my blood, but I am nervous about getting off of it, until all of my symptoms(stiffness in my joints) are gone.

Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks
SG

Look into systemic enzymes, which reduce the fibrin that causes hypercoagulation.

Are you helping your body to detox?

I agree that too many toxins cause stiffness in the joints. That's what happens to me too. Everytime I do a coffee enema, I feel tons better.

I plan to buy a FIR sauna as soon as I can afford one and use it regularly for this very reason.

Get tested for Factor V Leiden mutation as well to ensure that you don't have a natural blood clot inclination. If you do, they may want you on blood thinners for life. Coumadin is the old option but Pradaxa is a newer, better but more expensive option...

How are you sure you're over Lyme? Just curious. I'm sorry to hear about the blood clot. [Frown]

Have you been tested for the MTHFR mutation? It can cause blood clots.

Seekhelp, I think I'm over lyme because most of my symptoms are gone. The fatigue, feeling like I have the flu, the neuro stuff......all better. All thats left is this pain.

My doc thinks its neurotoxins, but did not offer a way to get rid of it. Said it goes away in 1 to 2 years on its own.

I am scared to take any herbal remedies since I am now taking coumadin. Most things don't interact well with coumadin.
