Flagyl is number one, next come antibiotics for treating bartonella eg quinolones and antitubercular eg rifampin. Then maybe Bactrim for some.

minocycline has very good CNS penetration at high doses, ie 300 mg

Bactrim really helped my neuro symptoms, but I was having heavy BArt flares after 8 months, so we switched to Cipro. I do still wish I was taking Bactrim, but I think the Cipro is helping for sure.

Thanks for everyone's help.
My daughters email to me is in Doc J's folder for review, as well as my own emails to the office.
It's been a week. I know he's swamped, and all of us feel our circumstances are urgent.
But, hopefully I will here from his office today or tomorrow.
More then likely will be taking a trip up.
I can't imagine IV or IM, because she's a lifeguard.
She's not talking to me now because she thinks I treat her like a baby, knowing what's best fr her body. After all, someof her friends are on mental meds, why shouldn't she be.
So tired.
